Boarding Debate

Competition T he boarding debate competition was

held on Sunday the 24th of march.

We started off with the ks3 qualifying round.
The first was between El-Kanemi Hostel speak-

ing for the motion and Obi hostel against it. Obi
Hostel emerged the winner. The second round
was between Oduduwa (for) and Danfodio
(against) which danfodio hostel won. Danfodio
spoke against the motion and Obi supported
it. Both Danfodio and Obi Hostels then faced
each other in the finals and Danfodio was an-

nounced the winner for the ks 3 round.

The ks4 qualifying round had 4 debates with
2 different debates for each hostel. El-kanemi
spoke in favour of the topic and went against
Oduduwa hostel and won both of their rounds
qualifying for the finals. For the boys hostels,
Danfodio supported the motion and won both
rounds qualifying for the finals where they

faced El-Kanemi (the best hostel) in the fi-
nals. After a tense debate El-Kanemi of course
won the Ks4 round. To end the Competition the
President of the boarding council, Agabi Oshen
Boarding Debate
gave the vote of thanks.
