he Inter-House Instrumental Com-
petition, which took place on Mon-
T day 25th was really fantastic. It was
INTER-HOUSE taught me so many new things. I enjoyed Experience
amazing! I loved everything about it and it

the rehearsals and seeing other extreme-
ly talented musicians come on stage and
INSTRUMENTAL perform wonderful pieces that they have

been learning for weeks, and for some, who
were given a fresh new piece to learn and
play on the spot! It was difficult, to say the
COMPETITION least, and it was a tough journey to learn
and play the music given, but it was so
worth it.

Despite many complications, especially
with my instrument and its delicateness
and the constant mistakes, it taught me
something new and a valuable lesson I
will always remember. All of this encour-
aged me to keep pushing myself, even

though I was initially hesitant. Getting on
stage and playing the music was surpris-
ingly, quite enjoyable. I saw it as a chance
to prove myself and showcase my skills to
a large audience, while hopefully, giving
them something pleasant to listen to at the
same time.

Congrats to all the other contestants! They

all did so well and I’m glad of the outcome.
I think the people who made mistakes as
they played were impressive. The way they
continued with such courage and spirit de-
spite difficulties is commendable. All in all
the Inter-House Instrumental Competition
was very inspiring!
