Imam Suleiman (Year 11 Benue) on his Experience
during the Volleyball Competition
he inter-house volleyball competition wrapped up
on Friday, marking two intense days of matches that
T brought out the best and worst of our school’s house
spirit. The girls’ volleyball matches on Thursday kicked off the
competition, but they didn’t quite give the excitement many
had anticipated. Each house came prepared, yet the matches
lacked the energy and intensity that typically drive a game to
memorable heights.
My house, Benue, faced stiff competition, but despite our
team’s efforts, we fell short, ultimately landing in last place.
Meanwhile, Volta’s team played with a disciplined approach
that, although not flashy, was enough to secure them the top
spot. The girls’ games set the tone for the boys, laying down
a challenge for us to elevate our performance and make a
comeback for Benue on the second day.
