Year 5 students embarked on an exciting Literacy Sequence by immersing themselves in the world
of classical poetry. Dressed as their favorite poets, they confidently introduced their chosen
figures, shared insights about their lives, and recited their works with expressive voices.
The classroom transformed into a literary salon, filled with creativity and curiosity. The morning
culminated in a dramatic role-play of Shakespeare’s ”All the World’s a Stage,” where students
acted out the seven stages of life with humor and depth.
The experience left them inspired and eager for their next literary adventure, proving that poetry
is not just to be read—but lived!
