SAFETY UPDATE
On the week 38 (15.-21.09.25) were no records
of safety incidents. It was an accident-free week, with
not even a near miss or a single incident reported.
Let us keep the energy high and continue to
focus on safety!
SMR CONFERENCE 2025
From 16. - 18.09.25, Martin Löwendick, Philip Torger, and Doğukan
Sakman attended the Int. Stainless & Special Steel Conference in Istanbul –
one of the most important events in the stainless steel and special steel
industry. Under the motto ‘Navigating Geopolitical Challenges & Securing
Long-Term Competitiveness’, experts and executives from around the
world came together to discuss current
developments in markets, raw material
supply, sustainability and technological
progress. The programme included keynotes,
panels and workshops on topics such as
recycling, supply chain strategy and end-user
markets. Philip Torger also gave a
presentation on ‘Strategic Sales Approaches
for a Stainless Steel Profile Producer’ and
Martin Löwendick took part in the ‘Fireside
Chat on long products’. In addition to
professional exchanges, the conference also
offered a variety of networking opportunities,
such as a gala dinner and an evening on the
Bosphorus. All presentations will be shared
with the team as well.
