BUSINESS SITUATION
The global stainless steel market is still under
pressure. Despite a strong order intake from the
USA, tariff uncertainty poses a significant risk to
the value chain.
In Europe, we observe positive signs in the current trading compared to
the previous year, with realistic chances for a robust Q4.
The Asian market, particularly South Korea, has performed exceptionally
well for us, and processing orders in Q4 smoothly and efficiently is critical
for a strong start to 2026.
In Southern Europe, we slightly improved compared to our weak start
into the year but still lag far behind expectations, presenting an
opportunity to position ourselves positively for 2026.
Timely delivery and, of course, high quality are paramount across all
customers, as securing new contracts remains challenging.
Reliability is key to sustaining business into 2026. Our strong focus on
operational excellence will drive future success.
MILL VISIT S&D
On 28.08.25 we had the pleasure of welcoming
S&D to our plant in Portugal. Together with
Vincent Jösch and Nuno Parreira, they spent
the day in an intensive exchange and a detailed
tour of our production facilities.
Those meetings offer the ideal opportunity not only to familiarize our
partners with our processes, but also to give them a real insight into our
work and our commitment on site.
