Educa t ional Tour

Going on school trips provided us with
            knowledge and experiences, and also

allowed us to discover new interests.

            Trip t o School Neighbourhood

I went to Rato Bangala School’s neighborhood during our Neighborhood Study. I was very excited.
A er lunchtime, we went to the neighborhood. I saw di erent places and landmarks of the RBS neigh-
borhood. I saw fruit shops, vegetable shops, temples and bakeries/restaurants, and grocery shops. e
things I liked most were the temple and fruit shops. It was
fun to go around the RBS neighborhood.

As a part of the study, we went around the school neigh-
borhood again to interview the neighbors. We went on the
5th of July 2022. I was with Aahana, Ananya, and Ayur. We
interviewed the owner of the medical shop. e medical
is named Jeevandhara Medical. e owner’s name is Gita
Shakya. She has been working in this medical shop for the
past six years. For her, the most likable thing about this
neighborhood is living together. She is helping this neigh-
borhood by throwing the trash in the dustbin. She helps
the people of this neighborhood by providing medicines. She also helps by keeping the environment
clean. I felt really good interviewing the owner of the medical shop.
                                                                                              by Arhat apa

            Trip to the Zoo

As a part of our Bird Study, we visited the aviary section of the zoo. Before visiting the
zoo, we were divided into di erent groups. Some parents also joined us. My mother
was also there so I was with her throughout the trip. Akasata and Aaditya were also
in my group. When we reached the aviary section we kept our bags in one place, took
our trip sheets, and started observing the birds. We saw di erent types of birds like
vultures, penguins, macaws, love birds, pheasants, parrots, ostriches, emus, crows,
and many other birds. We also saw some birds that are only found in Nepal. We col-
lected a lot of information about these birds. We came to know about their food hab-
its, habitat, their physical features, and a lot of
other information about these birds. Among
all the birds, I saw my favorite bird, Macaw. It
is my favorite bird because its tail is long and
its colors are beautiful. A er roaming around
the aviary section and lling up our trip sheet we returned back
to the place where we had our bags. We then had our lunch,
played for some time, and headed back to our school. I enjoyed
