KEEP ASKING FOR HELP
                                                                                   I have learnt over many years that,
                                                                                   from CEOs and senior managers to
                                                                                   work placement students and
                                                                                   graduate engineers, people find it
                                                                                   difficult to ask for help. Some believe
                                                                                   it is a failure to ask for the help and
                                                                                   the support of others to deliver their
                                                                                   own tasks, some think they should
                                                                                   have all the answers. Far from failure,
                                                                                   it’s essential to ask for help – and to
                                                                                   keep asking for it. This way we
                                                                                   succeed in achieving our goal or task
                                                                                   more quickly which moves the
                                                                                   business forward and we learn from
                                                                                   others – it is the old adage that two
                                                                                   heads are better than one.

                                                                                   UNTAP THE POTENTIAL
                                                                                   OF OTHERS
                                                                                   It seems a universal truth that when
                                                                                   people are asked how much of their
                                                                                   potential they have realised the
                                                                                   response is invariably about 60-65
