A number of animals with injuries consistent with damage caused by
snares were sighted over the weekend. These included animals with a limp: 2
bushbuck, 1 nyala and 1 impala, and animals with broken or missing legs: 2
bushbuck and 2 nyala. Additional animals with other injuries or deformities
included a nyala with a broken horn, a nyala with a misshaped horn, a bushbuck
with a facial lesion and an impala with an eye injury/infection.
