Ford, Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, Nikolas Tesla, Napoleon
Bonaparte, etc. in some of my books and writings. The reason is
that these men achieved a phenomenon result at a time that
knowledge and wisdom were at a premium. So, they went the extra
mile beyond imagination to find knowledge and apply it to deliver
unbelievable value to the world. The impact of their work is still felt
throughout the world today, without which the world we live now
wouldn’t have been as pleasant.
Learning is powerful but learning how to learn will propel you to a
new level. What does it mean? Reducing the time, you spend
learning will increase the value you are able to create in the world.
Everything boils down to time. Time is the limiter of all things and
whatever we have accomplished, we would eventually run out of
time. This awareness of our mortality is a key part of learning to
make the most of our time. I would just go straight to it, reading
remains one of the fastest ways to digest information and learn.
Most people don’t read because it takes too long and they
conclude that it is not worth their time. If you read without doing
your job or business, then your reading may be in vain without the
time to apply your learning. So, the first solution is for you to learn
to speed read. I have read over one thousand books in the area of
personal development and spirituality. This feat wouldn’t have
been possible without speed reading skills. So, let me just make it
easy for you by giving you the short cut to do this. There is a guy
named Howard Berg, he is the fastest speed reader in the world,
and he has this course which you can find on audible.com titled
‘Maximum Speed Reading’. Go get it right now before you lose
enthusiasm for it and come back to reading this book later. This
would cut down on your reading time and therefore you will be able
to read more and time to apply what you are reading. I do not a
penny for all the books I am recommending to you! I am doing so
because those books have helped me one way or the other and I
know they would help you too. I have a joke that I use whenever I
recommend a book in my seminars, I would say to them ‘You are
not allowed to buy any of the books I recommend to you until you
have bought my book first’ It usually gets a burst of laughter from
my delegates. So, I am indirectly telling you too that you are not
allowed to get any of the books I recommend unless you get all my
books you can lay your hands on.
