Card Making
Whether you are an experienced card maker or a beginner, join me to learn a new crafting technique and make some cards. You will be guided through the process of making these cards using stamping, die cutting, embossing and alcohol inks. You will have the opportunity to make five cards to take home with you. Please bring along these basic items: scissors, your favorite dry and or wet adhesives (white glue, tape runner, glue stick, double sided tape, etc.) and any sentiment stamps you would like to use on your cards, plus your favorite black ink pad (we will have stamps and ink pads available for use, if you don’t have these). $15 Materials Fee.

you will work with western alphabets using pressure and then lightening the touch for
an elegant take on pointed pen styles. Students should bring sketchbook paper or drawing paper to work with this style of pen. It doesn’t give good results on slick paper. The brush helps you form a variety of styles and you will learn many techniques of loading and blending colors. Lab fee will be $5.00 at the first class. Students familiar with these tools will work with pointed small brushes and Sumi ink.

Creative Drawing &
Water Media
This class emphasizes developing skills on how to train your artistic abilities. Students are encouraged to use different drawing implements, different grounds and different coloring media to develop their personal artistic interpretations. This includes colored pencils, watercolor, some acrylics, pen and ink, charcoal, and pencil sketching. Beginners are welcome and other levels who would like to to draw and paint in a positive and supporting environment. Materials are discussed at the first class but everyone should bring a 4B and 6B pencil and a drawing tablet. Since instruction is tailored to the individual, you will not need to purchase all of the media listed above. The $5 materials fee is due the first day so you can explore various media.
