Hike for Health
Enjoy the wildlife and natural beauty of parks within an hour’s drive while you exercise. Provide your own transportation. Bring
lunch and a water bottle, personal first aid kit and whistle. Wear layered clothing and sturdy shoes (with traction). Each hike is 5-8 miles. No classes on 11/11, 11/25, 12/23 or 12/30.

Spend an enjoyable morning creating while improving your skills painting in transparent watercolor. A variety of techniques will be demonstrated in each class as well as guidelines on color mixing, composition and perspective. Materials fee of $5 will be collected by instructor at first class. Learn easy methods to quiet the mind. By watching your thoughts. You can find a peaceful place inside of yourself. Breathing techniques, listening skills and visualization will be taught to help you cope with the outside world. Experience your true self. Conditioning
This class emphasizes developing skills on how to train your artistic abilities. Students are encouraged to use different drawing implements, different grounds and different coloring media to develop their personal artistic interpretations. This includes colored pencils, watercolor, some acrylics, pen and ink, charcoal, and pencil sketching. Beginners are welcome and other levels who would like to to draw and paint in a positive and supporting environment. Materials are discussed at the first class but everyone should bring a 4B and 6B pencil and a drawing tablet. Since instruction is tailored to the individual, you will not need to purchase all of the media listed above. The $5 materials fee is due the first day so you can explore various media.
