Guardian must open a Coogan Trust Account or equivalent blocked trust account for
BKT MEDIA
Talent
A minimum of 15% of the child’s gross earnings must be deposited into the account by
the employer within 15 days of payment
Guardian must provide the Coogan account number to the employer or production
company
Media Group may assist in providing resources or referrals to help establish the account
Financial Responsibility:
Guardian is responsible for all fees, banking arrangements, and tax reporting related to the
Coogan account. Media Group does not manage or access these funds.

Depending on the state or territory, Guardian may be required to obtain:
A general work permit for minors
An entertainment work permit issued by the state’s labor department or school district
A performance license for public appearances, recordings, or productions
Media Group will help identify which permits are needed and provide support in the application
process. However, Guardian must submit and maintain all required documentation.

Talent may be invited to participate in projects across multiple states or territories. Guardian
agrees to:
Comply with the laws of each jurisdiction where Talent performs
Provide updated documentation when traveling or relocating for bookings
Notify Media Group of any changes in residency or legal status that may affect
compliance
6. Documentation Checklist
Before participating in any paid or public-facing project, Guardian must submit:
