Based on the data analysis, 90% of the respondents tend to favor the position of this

paper that the integration of ICT in colleges and universities in Africa will play significant role in
the changing of the curricula in most African educational institutions. Respondents, Appiah William,
a graduate student at Bowie State University in Maryland, Asante Moses, a computer analyst who
consults with the Prince George’s County Government in Maryland and Ansu-Yeboah Robert a
Ghanaian who grew up in Ghana all agreed that the integration of ICT as a means of course delivery
in African educational institutions will go a long way to enhancing the process of teaching and
learning in its colleges and universities. They also agreed that the benefits of Internet which is a fast
engine that facilitates the process of information abstraction as well as delivery through the e-mail
will make the life of both the lecturers and students easier in knowledge delivery and information and
skills abstractions.
A similar view was expressed by a doctoral student in communication and a former lecturer at
the university of Nigeria, Nsukka who requested to be anonymous both strongly agreed that the
integration of ICT in colleges and universities in Africa will play significant role in changing
curricula design and allow students the opportunity to learn new ideas and skills relevant to their
various disciplines. Ms. Okon whose involvement in a doctoral program at a reputable American
university accede to the claims that ICT role in changing the way educational course contents are
