Looking at table 2 above, 86 respondents out of the 100 sampled, responded to a greater
extent that the improvement in technological innovations would assist in the raising of academic
standard in colleges and universities in Africa. This high response which is about 86% share the
position of this paper that when ICT is adequately integrated into the educational system, there is the
tendency for such integration to assist in the raising of academic standard in various academic
