The College of Business at Bowie State University includes the Department of
Accounting, Finance and Economics, the Department of Management
Information Systems and the Department of Management, Marketing, and
Public Administration. The College offers graduate programs leading to the
Master of Business Administration, the Master of Public Administration, and the
Master of Science in Management Information Systems. Our programs are
student-centered and faculty-driven through contemporary curricula. Each
program provides students with the opportunities to acquire the knowledge,
skills, and abilities to reach their fullest potential.

Curriculum requirements emphasize and encourage critical thinking, written and
oral communication, and ethical decision making. Our state-of-the-art facility
provides a supportive, nurturing, and stimulating intellectual environment for
the development of future business, public administration, and information
technology leaders. Students have abundant opportunities to interact with
leaders and mentors in the local and global business community.
