Orientation Handbook and Research Guide
Welcome to the HRD graduate program of study at Bowie State University. The basic purpose of
this handbook is to introduce you to the HRD program, its staff and services, as well as the many
resources that are available to you in and around the campus to help make your graduate experience
positive.
The goal of the Human Resource Development program is to train the next generation of leaders in
a wide variety of professions within the HRD field that can utilize the analytical, behavioral, and
cognitive skills derived from a hands-on and research-based graduate program.
