Online research
There are many online resources that you can use to find valuable information such as journal
articles, publications, studies, etc. in HR. At some point during HURD 806 – Research Planning:
Analysis, Interpretation, and Proposal Writing, your class will spend time at the library for
instruction on how to get the most benefit out of using the online resources for best outcomes and
results from your research efforts.
Internet sites:
ERIC, Educational Resources in Content (www.edrs.com) can provide abstracts of articles
in journals or publications on microfilm available in the library.
Library of Congress (www.loc.gov) is also a good reference site.
Libweb (sunsite.berkeley.edu/Libweb/) has links to hundreds of libraries across the world,
including UC and Wright State.
The World Wide Web Virtual Library: Education (www.csu.edu.au/) provides links to
educational sites around the world that specialize in K-graduate education.
The Maryland Universities research site (http://www.researchport.umd.edu).
