C. Faculty Profile
Faculty members are committed and accountable for providing classroom
instruction with results that are manifested in high performance levels of student
learning outcomes. It is expected that faculty members possess comprehensive
knowledge and apply a wide range of teaching process to achieve quality
education.
The program adheres to the minimum standards of CHED CMO 15 s. 2017
by employing 8 regular faculty members. One hundred percent (100%) (8/8) already
obtained their graduate degrees, one out of eight graduated from PhD Nursing
equivalent to 12.5%. Two faculty are currently enrolled in their Doctor of Nursing
Science degree and is conducting their dissertation 2 for the completion of the said
degree..
Furthermore, faculty have taken different fields of specialization like
Medical Surgical Nursing Major in Maternal and Child Nursing and Master of Arts
in Nursing Major in Nursing Administration. Some of the faculty were trained in
different fields like Hemodialysis training and Advance Cardiac Life Support.
As to their employment status 29% (8/28) are permanent and 71% (22/28)
are part time faculty.
