Prevention Purposes
During the Japanese occupation period, there was a plan for the reorganization of Taipei, and
there was a target setting for the urban park. However, with the outbreak of the Second World
War, most of the city was scorched. After the National Government of R.O.C. took over the
Japanese regime, Taiwan had become a base for military counterattacks. As a result, many
of the park reserves set up during the Japanese occupation period were temporarily used as
relevant military facilities and anti-air-raid fields.
