AIKENS
MR. LEVI JONES, JR.
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Levi Jones of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021, will be held on Saturday, October 16th, 11:00 a.m. at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 Lowe St., Pastor Rev. Glenn Dames, with Rev. An- tonio Hawkins, officiating, Pastor of Exciting Faith Alive Church. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Levi Jones Jr. was a native of Tampa, Florida, and was born on May 19, 1967. He accepted the Lord as his Savior and was faith- ful in his spiritual walk at St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, Reverend Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Sr., Pastor until his passing.

Levi was surely one of a kind. No one could have asked for a bet- ter husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. Levi also enjoyed watching his favorite team Alabama Crimson Tide “Roll Tide,” fishing, studying the Bible with his Masonic brothers and being with his family.
He was always the life of the party and he loved dancing. He al- ways ensured that everyone had a good time. He was the type of per- son that would give you the shirt
off his back or the food off his plate. He also loved being able to help others.
He was preceded in death by: mother, Irene Holmes; father, Levi Jones, Sr., father-in-law, Roy Ed- wards; grandmothers, Mary Jones and Rocelia Coleman Holmes; brother-in-law, Roy Edwards, Jr.

Gertrude was born on May 5, 1946, in Pembroke, GA, to Felton and Hattie Mae Bulloch. Her hobbies were going to the casino, playing cards, surfing Facebook Market Place, watching old movies and westerns, taking rides in her van, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; her sisters, Al- bertha Bulloch, Helen Bulloch, Carrie Lee Atkins, and Mavis Bul- loch; brother, Ulysses Bulloch; and best friend, Walter Lee Wright.

A Celebration of Life Grave- side Service for Mrs. Mae J. Payne, who transitioned to be with the Lord on October 5, 2021, will be held on Friday, Oc- tober 15th, at Orange Hill Ceme- tery, 4900 E. Chelsea St., Rev. Dr. Patricia Hauser, officiating.
Mother Mae was born Janu- ary 5, 1939, in Americus, Geor- gia, to Isom and Essie Tolbert. She attended and graduated from the Hillsborough County School District. She was a member of God’s Side Progres- sive Missionary Baptist Church.
Mother Mae spent her life taking care of her family; she was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She had a big heart and enjoyed helping peo- ple who came to her in need, no matter what the issue.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her companion, Willie Green; and uncle, Willie Iverson.

A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. John Thedford Williams, who passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at Garden of Memo- ries Cemetery, 4206 E. Lake Ave, with Rev. James Reed, Jr., offici- ating.
Mr. Williams was born on May 2, 1956, to Stanley and Eve- lyn Williams. He attended Hills- borough County Public Schools, and Job Corps in Kentucky. Mr. Williams loved his children and enjoyed being a grandfather. He also enjoyed talking and hanging out with his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Evelyn Williams; fa- ther, Stanley Williams; step- mother, Margaret Williams; daughter, Juanisha; grandmoth- ers, Lucille Cooper and Kather- ine Bell; grandfather, Booker T. Williams; brothers, Stanley, Jr., and Reginald; and sister, Car- olyn.
