SERGEANT DENNIS NAVARD ADDERLEY
A Celebration of Life for Sergeant Dennis Navard Adderley, who departed this life on October 5, 2021, will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Harmon Funeral Chapel, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, Florida, 33610. Inter- ment will be at the Florida Na- tional Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida, on Monday, October 18, 2021.
Dennis, affectionately known as “Dino,” was born June 15, 1955, in Bradenton, Florida, to the late Charles Adderley and Alice Givens.
He later relocated to Tampa, where he spent his childhood and discovered his love for basketball. After grad- uating from Chamberlain High School, Dennis enlisted in the Florida Army National Guard and later he transferred to ac- tive duty in the United States Army, where he traveled to many duty stations and re- ceived several awards and dec- orations and was honorably discharged.
After returning to Tampa, Dennis worked several jobs, but his favorite past time was entertaining and cooking for his many friends and family.
Dennis was preceded in death by: his father, Charles Adderley, brother Johnny Brown, and sister Charlene Marshall.
He leaves loving memories with: his daughter, Patricia Pearson, son, Dennis Pearson Ford, of Tampa, FL; mother, Alice Givens, of Tampa, FL; brothers, Carlee Brown, Jr., (Fannie) of Tampa, FL, Ren- wick Adderley, of Tampa, FL, Gladston Adderley (Gina) of Columbus, GA, Vendal Adder- ley of Nolanville, TX, Nevelon Adderley, of Tampa, FL, Charles Adderley (Pam) of Tampa, FL; sisters, Eunice Dingle (Ezekiel) of Beaufort, SC, Kathy Henry, of Tampa, FL, Geraldine Simmons, of Tampa, FL, Julie McLean of Phoenix, AZ, Josephine Adder- ley (Jay) of Atlanta, GA, Leinora Eady, of Tampa, FL, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
The processional into the funeral home chapel on Satur- day will begin at 2:45 p.m.

St., Tampa, Florida, 33610. William was born on October 4, 1938, to Berry and Mattie Larry. He is a graduate of Hills- borough County Schools, where he later became a faithful and
loyal employee until he retired. William had a heart of Gold! He was faithful, loyal, kind and loving. He was known to be a Bible Scholar and truly enjoyed sharing the word of God with everyone he encountered. William accepted Christ as a child, and he made sure all his
family knew who Christ is.
He was preceded in death by: father, Berry Larry; mother, Mattie Larry; brother, Foster Johnson, wife, Betty Larry; and
daughter, Teresa Sistrunk.
In his passing he leaves his precious memories with: his lov- ing daughter, Donna Larry, 7 grandchildren, Tyquisha Byrd (Kenneth), William Larry, Rane- cia Boyd, Khadeejah Boyd, Lakeisha Diggs, Andrea Johnson (Corey), Jonicia Danzey (Dmar- cus), all of Tampa; 20 great grandchildren, Jeremy Chat- man, Jr., Allisha Wright, William Larry, Jr., Ty’onna Wright, Rozyah Larry, Julian Larry, Arkecia Tasker, Kareem Larry, Frank Steward, III, Aye’dn Stew- ard, Corey Johnson, Jr., LaBronx Mention, Jr., Courtney Johnson, GerNiyla Lewis, Antwann John- son, Andre Johnson, Daemiya Walker, Demia Walker, Dove Danzey. 2 devoted friends, Curtis McDowell (Gloria) of Cordell, GA, Henry Dorsey (Ruby) of Tampa; cousin, (Ronnie Larry), niece, (Ophelia Reed), along with

MRS. GAITHER WIMBLEY CROSS “Momma”

Interment will follow in Orange Hill Ceme- tery, 4900 E. Chelsea, St., Tampa, Florida, 33610.
Gaither Wimbley Cross “Momma,” was called home to our Lord on October 6, 2021.
Gaither was born May 13, 1946, in East Chicago, Indiana. She graduated from Middleton High School and later attended nursing school to pursue her LPN career. She was employed with Tampa General Hospital for 27 years of service. She retired from Tampa General in June of 2008. Gaither accepted Christ at a young age.
Her interests included spend- ing time with her children and fashion.
She devoted her time and en- ergy caring for her oldest son, Terrance “Tony” Allen.
She is survived by: her two son(s): Terrance Allen, Hashim Wimbley and daughter, Akilah Wimbley: grandchildren: Shamari Wimbley, Khalid Muhammad, Aliyah Muhammad, Usef Muhammad and Marcus Muhammad; daughter-in-law: Willetha “Tootie” Holder; nieces, Neadra “NeNe” Thomas, Brittany Thomas, and Ny’Rhia Thomas; nephews, Ny’Seer Thomas, An- toine Lundy and nephew-in-law, Patrick “Pat” Carter; cousin, Cedric Spencer, all of Tampa, Florida; cousins of Kalamazoo, MI: Queen Hollin-Fry, Aunt (de- ceased), Carmella Whitehead, Jo- hhnie Hollin, Dianne Hollin-Anderson (Arthur), William Hollin (deceased).
Gaither has 90 maternal cousins in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was survived by many more family and friends as well.

MS. TEMEEKA THOMPSON
A Funeral Service for Ms. Temeeka Thompson, who passed away will be held Saturday, Octo- ber 16, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 4605 N. 34th Street, with Pastor Carolyn Riggins, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Temeeka Thompson was a na- tive of Tampa, FL, born on Febru- ary 24, 1973, to Michael Thompson and Kathy Lowe. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County.
Temeeka was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her daughter and her granddaughter. One of her favorite past time was eating. Temeeka loved food and loved to eat.
She was preceded in death by: father, Michael Thompson; mother, Kathy Lowe; grandfather, Freddie Lowe; grandmother, Sherlene Thompson; aunt, Fredricka Lowe Jackson; uncle, Darnell Thompson; cousins, Ayesha Harrison, Mannisenee Jackson, and Ayan Harrison.
A Life lived as that of Temeeka could never die, but will live on in our hearts forever for all eternity.
She leaves to cherish her memories: devoted daughter, Fredricka Phelps; grandchildren, Dallas, Fantasia, and Tha’riyah; devoted husband, Dallas Gillyard, Sr.; grandmother, Cleo Lowe; brother, Eugene Akines; sisters, Lexus Derr and Yanisha Thomp- son; aunts, Gail (Archie) Harri- son, Lavonne Anderson, Karen (Leonard) Hart, Stephanie Thompson, Renee Thompson, Sabrina Thompson, Darlene (Leroy) Sampson, and Felicia (Ho- race) Laidy; uncles, Gregory (Robyn) Thompson, Reginald Thompson, Thomas Thompson and Johann Best, and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.

Brown, whom Earthly Journey ended on Tues- day, October 5, 2021, will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Greater New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa, Florida, 33602, at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Benjamin Curry, Officiating. Interment Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea St., Tampa, Florida, 33610.
Trent Brown was born to Enoch K. (E.K.) Brown and the late Ladessa Brown on October 28, 1959. His early education was in Brevard and Hillsborough Counties public schools. He is a Plant High School graduate, Class of 1977. He attended Central State University in Wilberforce Ohio, on a football scholarship.
After leaving Central State he relocated to Chicago, where he was a founding member of The Rough Rider Personal Security Company; Motto: “Our Presence Demands Respect.” They pro- vided personal security for a mul- titude of R & B stars and professional athletes.
Trent returned to Florida in 1991 and became a well-known D J throughout the Tampa Bay and South Florida Area. He was affec- tionately known as “Teddy Bear.”
Trent enjoyed life, he was out- going, lighthearted, and always had a story ready for whoever was ready to listen. He was a big man with a big heart and loving spirit.
He was preceded in death by: mother, Ladessa Brown; uncles, Clifford Footman, Charlie A. (Booster) Brown, Moses Brown, Lorenzo (Randy) Brown; and lov- ing aunt, Mary McCoggle.
Left with sorrowing hearts and precious memories are: lov- ing father, Enoch K. (E.K.) Brown (Faye), devoted brothers, Kreg Brown, Sr., (Connie), Andre Campbell (Georgia), and Cham- berlain Campbell (Linda); nephew, Kreg Brown, Jr., (Kim), great nephew, Kreg Brown, III, and great niece, Ka’Mari Brown; uncles, Charles (C.J.)
