   JACKSON
DEACON ARTHUR E. YOUNG
Homegoing Services for Deacon Arthur E. Young who passed away peacefully, October 1, 2021, will be held Saturday, October 16th, 2021 at 11 a.m., at Greater Mt. Moriah P. B. Church, 1225 N. Nebraska Ave, Tampa, FL with Dr. B.R. Fulton, Jr., officiating. Interment will be Mon- day, October 18, 2021, at Florida Na- tional Cemetery Bushnell, FL, at 11 a.m., with Full Military Honors.
Deacon Arthur E. Young was born January 1, 1947, in Tampa, FL, to Arthur Everett and Minnie Young. He attended Hillsborough County public schools and graduated from Middleton High School Class of 1965.
Arthur served in the United States Army with an Honorable dis- charge. He was employed at James A. Haley VA Hospital, where he re- tired after more than 32 years. He was a devoted member of Greater Mt. Moriah P.B. Church, where he served as a Deacon. Arthur was a loving husband, father and grandfa- ther.
Arthur was preceded in death by: mother and father, Arthur Everett and Minnie Young; sister, Margaret Ealy; brothers, Lawrence Young and Tyrone Young; uncle, Ed- ward Everett; nieces, Michelle Jenk- ins and Deleena Young.
He leaves to cherish loving and fond memories to: his wife, Mrs. Myra Young; children, Dexter Cameron (Lorrie), Rhodda (Marlon) Dorsey, Arthur E. Young, Jr., (Jen- nifer), Andrew Young (Elise), Deon- dre Willis (Amy) and Cedric Young; grandchildren, Cratiana McCauley, Mikia Burney, Makayla Burnett, Ciara Burnett, Dexter Mitchell, Mya Cameron, Isaiah Dorsey (Tracy) Dexter Cameron, Jr., Marlon Dorsey, Jr., Jalevpha Edwards, Han- nah Davis, Madison Dorsey, A’xunde Young, Aniya Young, Azarich Young and, A’liyah Young; great grandchil- dren, Calani, Aubree, Autumn, Ma- liki, Allure, Codie, Colin, Pharoah, and Brayden; nieces, Benita Snyder, Andrea Jenkins, Deela Young, and Jamila Young; nephews, Carlton (Monica) Myles, Anthony (Denise) Myles, Fredrick (Vernitha) Jenkins, Jr., Robert (Lorinda) Ryan, Edward Ryan, III, and Jason Ryan; great nephews, Shavar Jenkins, Jordan (Alliah) Johnson, and Marcus John- son; great nieces, Kiara (Otis) Jo- hannes and Rhiana Hides; cousins, Audrey Tooms, Betty Crawford, Ella Mae Walker, Veronica Flowers, and Peggy Lise; as a daughter, Latrece Welch; as a son, Eddie Welch; de- voted friends, Harold Hall and Dwight Davis and a host of other rel- atives and friends.
A visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9 am to 11 a.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church at 10:30 a.m.

MR. FRANK YORK COLBERT “Grandpa”
Mr. Frank York Colbert “Grandpa,” of Tampa, FL, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, 4:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
Frank York Colbert was born on November 15, 1937, in Tampa, FL to Archie Lee Colbert and Mary Etta Luster. He was named after Dr. A. York.
Mr. Colbert graduated from Carver Sr. High and entered the Navy, where he received an Hon- orable Discharge. He worked for Florida Steel Corporation for years, City of Tampa Sanitation, Station Bar and also home im- provement.
He loved music and was in a quartet with Mr. Steve Dixon and Micheal plus one other. He was long lived out of 7 boys and 5 girls.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Nettie Jewel Colbert.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: devoted daughter, Voncia Whaley (Ray); two granddaugh- ters, Iesha Forman (Eddie) and Russhea Simmons; one sister, Doretha; brother-in-law, Hossey Floyd; sister-in-law, Charlie Mae Colbert; niece Mary Colbert Fra- zier, of St. Petersburg, FL, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Ms. Bridget L. Hill of Tampa, FL passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021. Funeral Services will be held on Satur- day, October 16, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Thyrve Church, 5015 N. 17th Street, Tampa, FL 33610 with Pastor Enrique Brooks, officiat- ing. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
Bridget was a native and res- ident of Tampa for 46 years. She attended Jefferson High School and graduated from Concorde College with a degree as a Registered Nurse. She also owned a janitorial company, “Keep It Clean Janitorial Serv- ice.”
She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Ethel and Jessie Hill, Sr.; three aunts and three uncles.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters, Brenicca Thompson, Jirennicra Thompson and April Chapman; one loving grandson, whom she loved dearly, Jcyeon Davis (Poppa); mother, Merry J. Scott; father, Walter Scott; two brothers, Dakota E. Givens and Micheal J. GIvens (Shanae); two loving cousins, Roland Ware (Gisselle) and Carl Lamar Shel- ton; three aunts, three uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and her loving best friends.

MRS. GLORIA GRIFFIN
Mrs. Gloria A. Brooks Griffin passed away on Sunday, Septem- ber 26, 2021. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Pastor Donald Lott, Officiating. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.

The world lost a beloved Queen. Gloria battled Covid-19, but it never stopped her from fighting until her final moments in the hospital.
Queen Gloria, was born in Tampa, FL on December 20, 1955. She always said she learned every- thing she knew from her own lov- ing parents, Richard and Roberta Brooks.
Gloria was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert; brother, Richard, Jr.; and parents, Richard and Roberta Brooks.
Gloria is survived by: her sis- ters and brother, Irma, Barbara and Franklin; best friend and god- daughter, Tonja; children, Terri, Robert, Jr., Ramona, Redd and Tanesha; step kids, Helen and Viola; 16 grands, Michael, Kenny, Sean (Destinee), Megan, Jacob, Robert, III, Brandon, Jasmyne, Amour, Cindy, Kayden, Javon, Javares, Timajue, Lorenzo, and Dejuan; nieces, Nicki, Tiffany, Rameka, Gloria, Michelle P., Feli- cia and Melody; nephews, Frank, Jr., Gregory, and Jonathan.

Terrance Lamar Larry was born to Mary D. Myles and Samuel Otis Larry, Jr., on No- vember 23, 1970, in Tampa, Florida.
He was a native of Tampa where he lived his entire life. He was educated in the Hills- borough County Public School System where Terrance eventu- ally received his GED. He was employed at numerous jobs in- cluding long-haul truck deliv- ery, construction and earlier in life, plumbing.
Terrance was preceded in death by: his father, Samuel Otis Larry, Jr.; his beloved pa- ternal grandmother, Isabelle Larry; paternal grandfather, Samuel Otis Larry, Sr., (TO) and maternal grandfather, Grif- fin Myles, Sr.
Terrance has extensive fam- ily in Tampa and throughout the United States and leaves to mourn: his mother, Mary D. Myles; devoted partner, LaWanda Nance; their three children, Tayla Linn, Jackson and Jared Larry; two sisters, Torana “Tassi” Hunter Wright and Angela Smith; brother, Jamel Larry; maternal grand- mother, Mary Alice “Mae-I” Myles, and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, grand un- cles, cousins and friends.
