Strain In Game 4
Tampa Bay Lightning cap- tain Steven Stamkos said the feeling usually sinks in the day after a team is eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs.
"That feeling when you wake up and you think you are just going to keep playing," he said, "and now it's over."
The Lightning saw a 3-2 series lead slip away to the Washington Capitals, who won the Eastern Conference championship with a 4-0 win in Game 7 on Wednesday night, earning the right to face the expansion Vegas Golden Knights for the Stanley Cup.
 She Is Pregnant
Klay Thompson briefly exited Game 4 of the Western Con- ference Finals after an awk- ward fall.
During
the second
quarter of the
game between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets on Tuesday, Thomp- son drove to the basket and had his shot attempt blocked by Clint Capela. At the end of the play, Thompson fell to the ground and was seen hold- ing his left knee.
A few moments later, Thompson headed back to the locker in obvious discom- fort.
The Warriors went into Tuesday’s game shorthanded with Andre Iguodala nurs- ing a knee injury of his own, so this caused worry. However, it was later reported that Thompson had a knee strain.
Eagles Releasing LB Mychal Kendricks
MYCHAL KENDRICKS
The Philadelphia Eagles have managed to retain sev- eral of their key players after winning a championship while also adding some other important pieces, but they are reportedly moving on from a reliable veteran.
The Eagles have decided to release linebacker Mychal Kendricks.
Kendricks, 27, appeared in 15 games for the Eagles in each of the past two seasons. The former second-round pick recorded 77 total tackles and two sacks while helping the Eagles win a Super Bowl last year.
The Eagles were said to be shopping Kendricks after they resigned one of their other linebackers earlier in the offseason, so the move does not come as a surprise. Kendricks should find a new home relatively quickly.
Shayanna Jenkins, the former fiancee of Aaron Hernandez, is expecting another child.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Jenkins revealed that she is pregnant with her second baby girl.
“Many of you have specu- lated that I may be expecting another miracle which is very accurate, I wanted to take time and process and post when I was ready to,” Jenk- ins wrote. “I wanted to have a moment for myself alone with my daughter ... we are beyond excited about the new addition and chapter we will soon begin. I couldn’t be a luckier woman to have such a perfect little girl that’s pre- pared to become the best big sister, and even more blessed to welcome another babygirl to our home. BabyG we are very excited to meet you!!! Mommy and sissy will con- tinue to wait patiently for your arrival. I thank everyone for the continued support and appreciate the respect for

The game started poorly for the Lightning: Alex Ovechkin scored just 1:02 into the first period. The team that scores first in Game 7 has gone on to win close to 75 per- cent of the time.
     Terrelle Pryor
The Pittsburgh Steelers have once again been unable to come to an agreement with Le’Veon Bell on a long-term contract extension, and the star running back is taking the same approach this offseason that he did a year ago.
Bell is not expected to be present when the Steelers begin organized team activi- ties — which are optional — on Tuesday. Bell stayed away from the team until Septem- ber last year, so his absence this year is hardly a surprise.
A recent report from NFL Network claimed Bell wants
LE’VEON BELL
to be paid like Antonio
Brown, who makes $17 mil- lion per year. That would be insane money for a running back — even one that makes as big of a contribution in the passing game as Bell.

It’s unclear who the child’s father is. Hernandez committed suicide in prison in April 2017, so the baby could only belong to the for- mer NFL star if he had his sperm frozen at some point. Jenkins has not mentioned anything publicly about a new relationship.
Jenkins stood by Her- nandez through both of his murder trials and has seem- ingly been in denial about the way he died.

CJ McCollum Calls Cavs
Another Ankle Injury
One Of Worst Defensive
During Offseason
Teams He Has Ever Faced
Terrelle Pryor is hop- ing to bounce back with the New York Jets in 2018 after his lone season with the Washington Redskins was a major disappointment, but the wide receiver is going to have to overcome yet an- other ankle injury first.
Pryor, who underwent ankle surgery last November, is dealing with a new ankle injury that has prevented him from taking part in or- ganized team activities.
Pryor broke out with 77 catches for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns while play- ing for the Cleveland Browns in 2016, but he was never able to establish good chem- istry with Kirk Cousins last year. He caught just 20 passes for 240 yards and a

touchdown in 2017 before being placed on injured re- serve with the ankle injury.
It’s unclear how serious Pryor’s latest injury is, but we know there is still at least one wide receiver available on the free agent market who could make a major impact.
The Cleveland Cavaliers haven’t exactly been a defen- sive juggernaut this season, but one star player thinks that they are historically bad on that end.
Speaking during an episode of his “Pull Up” pod- cast on Tuesday, Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ Mc- Collum put the Cavs’ defen- sive woes in perspective.
“Cleveland is one of the worst defensive teams I’ve ever played against, hon- estly,” he said in a segment on the Eastern Conference Finals. “I think it’s just the spacing, they have a lot of different players on their ros- ter throughout the season, so terminology’s not the same, the continuity isn’t always there.
“Think about how many players they’ve had on their roster the last three or four
CJ MCCOLLUM years,” McCollum contin-
ued. “They’re literally in and out, new guys every year. So it’s hard to be on a string and be united as one when you have all that uncertainty: ‘Hey, if things don’t go well, I might get shipped out.’ So I think that’s one of the rea- sons why their defense has been up and down. But then when it’s time to lock in and focus on one team, they’re a lot better.”
