Warren Sapp Says Gerald McCoy Is ‘Not Even Close’ To A Bucs Legend
Chargers Have Made
Warren Sapp is a guy who has long been known for not holding his tongue, and this time, it was Carolina Pan- thers defensive lineman Ger- ald McCoy who was the victim of his verbal jabs.
Sapp, who spent most of his Hall of Fame career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, doesn’t think McCoy, who spent the first nine years of his NFL tenure with the Buc- caneers, is anything close to a
Bucs legend:
“He’s a damn good player.
A damn good player. But not even close [to a legend],” said Sapp, according to Jenna Laine of ESPN.com. “You damn sure don’t get leg- endary status or tell some- body to put your jersey up if you don’t take ’em to playoff games [laughs]. ... Not one playoff game. Not even a Wild Card. I went to nine. We went 5-4.”

  GERALD MCCOY AND WARREN SAPP
The Los Angeles Chargers have reached out to running back Melvin Gordon, but no progress has been made on ending his holdout, according to a report.
The Chargers have con- tacted Gordon recently to tell him that he’s still a valued part of the team. However, the two sides are no closer to agreeing on a new contract that would end his holdout.

Brown Returns To Raiders Camp, Clowney Likely To Be Traded
Former Bills WR Charged With Stalking, Threatening To Kill Ex's Young Daughter
Some of the narratives everyone has been following this NFL preseason took a new twist on Tuesday.
Antonio Brown, who just days ago reportedly threatened to retire because he could not use his old helmet, returned to Oakland Raiders training camp.
Jadeveon Clowney, a camp holdout who has been widely expected to report to the Houston Texans later this month, now appears likely to be traded, according to a re- port.
Brown Returns To Training Camp
Brown opened a new chapter in his strange presea- son on Tuesday, returning to the Raiders' training camp in
regular season.
Texans' Clowney Reportedly On Trading Block
Clowney, who wants a contract extension the Texans do not want to offer right now, has been a training camp hold- out, but had widely been ex- pected to report to camp later this month.
But a report Tuesday sug- gests the Texans are actively shopping Clowney. The Houston Chronicle's John McClain reported he would "be surprised" if Houston do not trade Clowney before the start of the season.
The Texans put the fran- chise tag on Clowney in the offseason, but he has not signed it yet.
Former Buffalo Bills and Miami Hurricanes wide re- ceiver Roscoe Parrish was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Monday, accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend and threatening to kill her 10-year- old daughter.
Police told the Miami Her- ald that Parrish, 37, faces felony charges of aggravated stalking and written threats to kill.
Parrish began harassing his former girlfriend of 11 years after they broke up in 2018, ac- cording to police records. After she cut off communication with him, Parrish began leaving threatening hand-written notes at her home and on her car last month.
“You b---- haha I found you,
from your ex,” one note read, according to records.
