AIKENS
MRS. ANNIE RELL GILMORE FOWLER
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Annie Rell Gilmore Fowler, of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019, will be held on Satur- day, August 17th at 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Min. James Suttle, Sr., officiating, with Bro. Ronnie Moorer, Sr., her son, will be the eulogist. The interment will be held in Florida National Ceme- tery, Bushnell, Florida.
Annie Rell Gilmore Fowler was born on March 20, 1928, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, to the late Orbia, Sr. and Cora Gilmore. She was a member of the Jesus House Church with her husband, James Fowler.
Her favorite job was work- ing at the Padgett Nursing Home, in Tampa, Florida. She enjoyed her knitting, crochet- ing and designing floral arrangements. Everybody loved her cooking and baking cakes. She had a special love for her entire family, from her children to grandchildren to her nephews and nieces, to the great grands.
God had blessed her with longevity, a long life of 91 years; until, she fell ill in June, 2019, then passed away on August 9, 2019.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, James Fowler; daughter, Carol Ann Moorer; 2 sons, Sherman and Carnet Moorer; 2 brothers, Sam and William Gilmore; 4 sisters, Bernice Whitherspoon, Zuola Summers, Ruth Patrick and Alfred Robinson.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her children, Ronnie L. Moorer, Sr., (Gloria), Amy Vanessa Moorer and Adrienne Jacobs (Robert); grandchildren, Ron- nie Moorer, Jr., Nikki Castle (Eugene) and family, all of Tampa; brother, Orbia “Buster” Gilmore, Jr., Bow- man, SC.; sister, Ethel Hall and family, all of Jersey City, New Jersey; sister-in-law, Margie Gilmore; daughters-in-law, Geraldine Pierre and Cecil Moorer; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other rela- tives that will miss her.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, August 16th from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5 p. m. to 6 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.

MR. QUINTON DAJUAN ROBERTS ‘BUG, Q’
A viewing for Mr. Quinton Dajuan Roberts of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019, will be held on Friday, August 16th from 5 to 7 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Mar- tin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. The in- terment will follow.
Quinton was born on Sep- tember 3, 1980, in Tampa, Florida, to Arthur Lee Harper and Sherry Brinson. Quinton loved hanging out with friends and spending time with his fam- ily.
Quinton was preceded in death by: his sister, Amanda.
He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with: his fi- ancé, Crystal Wilson; son, Quin- ton Dajuan Roberts, Jr.; parents, Arthur Lee Harper and Sherry Brinson; brother, Fred- die Roberts; aunts, Cathleen McMillian, Mary Lou Kirkland and Annie Lou Key; uncles, Larry McMillian and Lord Kirk- land; cousins, Yolanda Lee (Charles), Stacy Cuyler (Eric), Shirley McMillian, Larry Carlyie (Bernadette), Leroy Carlyle (Gwen), and Jeffery Carlyle and companion Vera, Shaneka Kelly and Calvin Bynum; friends, Michael McCoy, Edward “Ghost” Mincey, Nakema Bowe and Faran Bailey (Nekisha) and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Homegoing Memorial Cel- ebration for Mrs. Pearl Allen of Tampa, Florida, who passed away August 11, 2019, will be held Saturday, August 17th, 2 p. m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Pastor Derick Levy, of- ficiating.
Pearl was a life-long resident of Tampa, and educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Ernest and Geneva Gillard; brothers, Ed- ward, Leonard, Frank, Freder- ick, Sr., and Bobby Gillard (infant).
She leaves to cherish her memories and continue her legacy with: children, Gene Blalock, Sr., Dr. Malcolm Gillard (Daniel), Stacy Gillard and Joseph Allen, Jr. (Tia); god- daughter, Charlette Mayhue- Fussell; grandchildren, Gene Blalock, Jr. (Liz), Benjamin Forte, Ja’naye Allen, Jo’mara Allen, Ikera Johnson, Sonjae Miller, Jamarcus Gillard, Jamiah Gillard, Jaedea Gillard, Aariontae Brown, Tiara Brown and ReJai Anderson; great- grandchildren, Gene Blalock, III, Samuel Allen, Garrett Blalock, Jakobi Desroches, and Logan Forte; brothers, Clarence Gillard (Annie) and Ralph Gillard (Alma); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, David (Cowboy) Peter- son, Sharon Zeigler, Laverne Rhanes, and Tonya Nembhard.

Mrs. Jannie M. Ray of Tampa, passed away Wednes- day, August 7, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Sat- urday, August 17 at 11 a. m. at Hosley Temple CME Church, 3729 N. 15th Street, with Rev- erend Anita D. Williams, offici- ating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Jannie M. Ray was a na- tive of Arabi, Georgia and a res- ident of Tampa for 75 years. She was educated in the public schools of Arabi, GA. Mrs. Ray was a member of Hosley Temple CME Church in Tampa, where she served on the No. 1 Usher Board. She retired from the res- ident of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Bobo as a devoted housekeeper and caregiver of their children, Ralph, Bobby, Silvia (Mitch), Michael and also their grand- children.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, J. C. and Mattie B. Clark; husband, Willie Lee Ray.
