A$AP Rocky Performs For The First Time Since Release From Sweden's Custody
Following his release from Sweden’s custody, A$AP Rocky performed for the first time after his months-long in- ternational legal row with the European country that sparked celebrity-backed pub- lic outcry.
The hip-hop community, which pledged to boycott Swe- den, led the charge in calling for his release after he was locked up abroad over assault charges. Donald Trump also tweeted demands for Rocky’s release.
Finally, the Harlem rap artist and fashion magnate was back on U. S. soil last week after he was released from the Slavic country’s cus- tody following the judges’ de- cision to let him out of prison while they decide the fate of his assault case.
The rapper took the stage to a crowd of hyped and scream-

The situation between actor Djimon Hounsou and Kimora Lee Simmons is getting messier and messier regarding their custody battle over their son Kenzo.
Now Kimora is claiming Djimon is threatening to move Kenzo to Africa!
Here’s more on the situa- tion via TMZ:
It’s been a bitter fight that has now bubbled over. As we reported, Djimon com- plained bitterly on Father’s Day Kimora wouldn’t let him see their 10-year-old son, Kenzo. He strongly insinu- ated she was regularly keeping the child away from him, but she maintained he was an ab- sent father who rarely wanted to see the boy.
Our Kimora sources claim
KIMORA LEE SIMMONS AND DJIMON HOUNSOU
Djimon has threatened to take Kenzo to Africa and never bring him back. Rus- sell Simmons, who was once married to Kimora and is still close to her, tells TMZ a few days ago he told Djimon he could take the boy for a visit if he would sign a docu- ment promising not to take Kenzo to Africa, but Djimon refused to sign.
Kimora got served Friday with Djimon’s joint custody petition.
Russell tells TMZ Djimon now is asking not just for joint custody, but child support, yet Russell claims Djimon has- n’t paid her support. We don’t know, however, if a court or- dered him to do so.
Like we said, the situation is getting messier and messier
Netflix Drops ‘Dolemite Is My Name’ Trailer Starring Eddie Murphy
 Netflix released on Monday
a trailer for “Dolemite Is My Name,” starring Eddie Mur- phy as the actor behind the 1970s blaxploitation film char- acter.
Late actor and musician Rudy Ray Moore was the original filmmaker and star of the 1975 movie “Dolemite.” He was also considered the “God- father of Rap,” as hip-hop artists often sample his music. Here’s a breakdown of Mur- phy’s Netflix project:
Stung by a string of showbiz failures, floundering comedian Rudy Ray Moore (Academy Award nominee Eddie Mur- phy) has an epiphany that turns him into a word-of- mouth sensation: step onstage
Eddie Murphy in ‘Dolemite Is My Name’.
as someone else. Borrowing from the street mythology of 1970s Los Angeles, Moore as- sumes the persona of Dolemite, a pimp with a cane and an arsenal of obscene fa-
bles. However, his ambitions exceed selling bootleg records deemed too racy for main- stream radio stations to play. Moore convinces a social jus- tice-minded dramatist (Kee- gan-Michael Key) to write his alter ego a film, incorporat- ing kung fu, car chases, and Lady Reed (Da’Vine Joy Randolph), an ex-backup singer who becomes his unex- pected comedic foil. Despite clashing with his pretentious director, D’Urville Martin (Wesley Snipes), and count- less production hurdles at their studio in the dilapidated Dun- bar Hotel, Moore’s Dolemite becomes a runaway box office smash and a defining movie of the Blaxploitation era.
