John Singleton’s Mother Reportedly Named Executor Of His Estate
John Singleton’s mother snagged a legal victory follow- ing a monthslong court battle with her granddaughter. Ac- cording to The Blast, Sheila Ward has officially been named executor of the late di- rector’s estate.
Ward initially attempted to garner control of the estate after Singleton suffered a stroke in April. Singleton’s daughter, Cleopatra, ob- jected to the legal filing and contradicted claims made by her grandmother, including that her father was left coma- tose following a “major stroke.”
In her legal filing, Cleopa- tra alleged that her grand- mother, who was Singleton’s business manager, attempted to shut his children out finan- cially, abused her power, and “bullied and abandoned” her father since childhood.
In June, Ward filed emer-

gency documents in which she claimed that her son’s personal belongings were stolen from his home. Singleton’s only will was drafted in the early ‘90s before many of his chil- dren were born. The will named his eldest daughter, Justice, as inheriting his multi-million dollar estate.
Rapper Mystikal Fell Off The Stage 30 Seconds Into His Performance
MYSTIKAL
There has been a lot of talk on social media about the 50 greatest rappers of all time, and while a few names remain consistent on the dif- ferent lists--JAY-Z, Nas, Biggie, Tupac--the order of certain names is what has caused the passionate de- bates. One name that is miss- ing from all of the rankings is rapper Mystikal.
Mystikal released two al- bums at the height of his No Limit career with hits that in- cluded "Shake Ya A**" and "Danger." Last week the 48- year-old New Orleans born artist found himself in a bit of peril when he reportedly fell off a stage in Tampa,
Florida.
According to TMZ, Mys-
tikal, real name Michael Lawrence Tyler, hit the stage at about 1 AM and a mere 30 seconds into his performance he took an un- expected tumble into the crowd. Footage shows secu- rity trying to help him back onto the stage, but he injured himself as a result of the fall.
An attendee said a spilled drink prior to Mystikal's performance caused the fall. Shortly after, Mystikal was said to have cut his show short and with the help of the crew was carried off the stage. It's unclear if he sought medical attention.
