where she worked with 6-8 grade students. Mrs. DeDe helped our mentally handi- capped children by showing them her love and caring spirit and always told them to do their best. Her final assignment prior to her retirement was at Colson Elementary.
Mrs. Biggs was a longtime resident of her beloved Progress Village Community. She would gather the news of the commu- nity and was the writer of the “Progress Village News” that was published in the Florida Sentinel Bulletin. She distributed the paper in the Progress Village, Palm River areas and mailed the paper to out of towners.
Iradean was preceded in death by: her parents, Dave and Ozie Bell Walker; husband, Bobby J. Biggs; son, Darrell Lon- don, Sr. and sister, Lucille Oats.
Mrs. Iradean L. Biggs leaves cherished and fond memories of her in the hearts of: her grand- children, Darrell (D. J.), Paige, Darren and Messadia London; great grandchild, Azasleonna; devoted sister, Catherine Walker; stepchildren, Rhuetilia (Marvin) Bradford, Fontaine (Tony) Marion, Richard (Mae) London, Jr., Winston (Mary) London, Rodney Jones, Douglas Biggs, Bobby Biggs, Vanesa Biggs and Tonya Jones; a host of nieces, nephews; great nieces, great nephews; other relatives and friends including, god- daughters, Cheryl Byrd Wash- ington and Robin Parker Paschall.

MRS. LORENE WALKER TANN
Homegoing Services for Mrs. Lorene Walker Tann, 91, will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 11 a.m., at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 804 Renfro Street, Plant City.
Mrs. Tann was born to the late Johnny Walker and Ruby Lee Taylor in Plant City, FL on July 8, 1928. She graduated from Mid Way Academy, in Plant City. She attended Gibbs High School, St. Petersburg, and Union Academy of Tarpon Springs.
She joined Bethel M. B. Church under the leadership of Rev. J. J. Collins, of Plant City, and was baptized by Reverend Willie Parsons, of Tarpon Springs, at Mount Herman Baptist Church. While at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, she served many years as the Church Clerk, and also sang in the Adult Choir.
She was employed at Nu- way Cleaners for 30 years.
Lorene Walker Tann was noted for a lot of good deeds, but most of all, her squash casserole and cakes won the hearts of many; don’t forget about the Pineapple Dream Cake, the Lemon Cake, and the German Chocolate Cake as well.
She married Elijah D. Tann on January 3, 1948, (who pre- ceded her in death). Lorene was preceded also by her brother, Riley Walker, and spe- cial friend, Betty Prince.
On August 4, 2019, she saw fit to answer the call of the Lord at her home when she said, “Here am I.”
She leaves to cherish her precious moments, her sons: Buford (Della) and Andrew Tann; daughter, Velma (Mar- vin) Holloman; sister-in-law, Alberta Walker; grandchildren, Daphanny (Melvin) Baker, of Ohio, Bridgette (Paul) Swentson, April and Ilse, all of Nebraska, James Lamar, Stacy Grissett, of Trenton, New Jer- sey, Kennetta (Alvin) Green, of Orlando, FL, and Tiffany (David) Eubanks, of Seffner, FL; a host of great grandchil- dren, great, great grands, nephews, nieces, cousins, lov- ing friends and relatives.
She also wanted to ac- knowledge her special adopted families, Clara Perry and fam- ily, Ruth Martin and family, and the family of Doris Bald- win.
A public viewing will begin at 10 a.m.

MRS. IRADEAN L. BIGGS
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Iradean L. Biggs, who passed away on August 7, 2019, will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 11 a. m., at Victory African Methodist Episcopal Church, (St. James A. M. E.), 5202 S. 86th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Michael B. Price, I, officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Of Memo- ries Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Av- enue, Tampa, Florida.
Mrs. Iradean L. Biggs was born on February 16, 1931 in Oglethorpe, Georgia, to the parentage of David and Ozie Bell Walker. Iradean and her family moved to Tampa at an early age. She attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Middleton High School, Class of 1950.
Mrs. DeDe as she was affec- tionately called, worked with the Exceptional Education Program for many years. She helped many of the handicapped chil- dren to gain their independence by increasing their self-help skills. She was a loving and kind person and she made each child feel special. Her first job was with the EELP Program (a pre- school program) at Ruskin Ele-
MR. JOSEPH DAVID PIMIENTA
Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Joseph David Pimienta, who passed on August 6, 2019, will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 11 a. m. at St. Luke African Methodist Episcopal Church, 2709 N. 25th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Kirk Bogen, officiating, with Pastor Lorenzo Magwood, eulogist. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
Mr. Joseph David Pimienta was born on October 31, 1943 in Tampa, Florida to his mother, America Pimienta Banks of Portsmouth, VA. He attended the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County. Joseph was a well- known handyman. He was a former employee of Western House, TECO and U. S. F.
Mr. Pimienta accepted the Lord before his passing. He was loved by everyone.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, America Pimienta Banks; grandmother, Delia Pimienta; and other family members, including, Ila Evans, Ronald Banks, Warren Banks, Michael Banks, Eloise Pimenta, Albert Pimienta, Joseph H. Pimienta, Ebony Leggett and Kevin Peele.
