Entertainment manager, Debra Antney is trying to get her money from French Montana.
Remy Ma And Papoose Renew Wedding Vows; Expecting Baby
French Montana owes Waka Flocka’s mom — rap manager and reality show star, Debra ‘Miss Deb’ Antney — nearly $2 million stemming from an old lawsuit and now she’s filed new docu- ments to make sure she gets paid her money.
According to court docu- ments, Antney’s company, Mizay Entertainment, filed for a sister state judgment stem- ming from a $1,999,588.41 judgment she won against French last year.
Mizay won the judgment in Georgia and the sister state
judgment allows the company to collect in California.
Antney won her lawsuit against French in 2017 for $1,864,012.50 and was subse- quently awarded $135,140.91 more for interest when the final judgment was entered in January 2018.
Based on the court docu- ments, it seems French never responded to the law- suit.
Antney initially sued French, who used to be a client of hers, in 2013 claim- ing he went behind her back to make deals.
Rappers and reality TV stars, Remy Ma and Pa- poose renew vows. The couple had a lavish reality TV wedding not long ago, however they were originally married while she was in prison, 10 years ago. Rappers Remy Ma and her husband Papoose have re- newed their vows and revealed they are expecting a baby.
The rappers wed in 2008 while the "All the Way Up" hit- maker was serving six years behind bars for assault, weapons possession and at- tempted coercion, and over the
last weekend they celebrated
their nuptials again in a vow renewal ceremony.
During the ceremony, Remy and Papoose also con- firmed they are expecting a baby after he hinted she was pregnant in December by post- ing a photo of a hospital sign reading "Ultra Sound Waiting Room" on Instagram.
The 38-year-old, real name Reminisce Mackie, already has a son from a previous ro- mance, while Papoose, real name Shamele Mackie, also has kids from previous rela- tionships.
Another C-Murder Witness Recants; Master P Hosts Rally To Free His Brother
Another key witness in
Corey ‘C-Murder’ Miller’s
case has come forward to re- cant his testimony.
In late June, the first wit- ness, Kenneth Jordan, came forward admitting to being coerced by detectives of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office to name C-Murder as the gunman in the killing of teenager, Steve Thomas, at a nightclub in Harvey, La. in 2002.
Kenneth Jordan admit- ted he lied under oath during C-Murder's trials, after cops threatened him with ar- rest.
Another man named Dar- nell Jordan (no relation) also gave testimony during C-Murder's trial.
But Darnell Jordan re- cently filed an affidavit claim- ing police also pressured him into identifying the rapper as the gunman.
Darnell Jordan, was the bouncer at the club where the disturbance took place.
He originally testified that he helped break up a distur- bance between C-Murder, and the teen.
Prosecutors used Darnell Jordan's statements con- necting C-Murder to the shooting during both trials.
After two mistrials, C- Murder, was eventually convicted of the crime in 2009, and automatically sen- tenced to life in prison, with- out parole.
Darnell Jordan claims
he did not want to testify at C-Murder's first trial, so he skipped the state of Louisiana and headed to California.
But police caught up with him, shackled him and shipped him back to New Or- leans.
He also said that he frisked C-Murder, who was free of any contraband, in- cluding a gun.
Lawyers for C-Murder have maintained that each one of his trials has been tainted by shady prosecutors, unreliable witnesses and a juror who admitted she was pressured to find the rap star guilty.
Kenneth Jordan went public with his claims during an episode of "Reasonable Doubt," which aired last week on the ID Channel.
Master P reportedly hosted a rally in New Orleans
at Xavier University on Thursday (July 5), calling for the immediate release of his brother, C-Murder.
In video shared of the rally, Master P demanded that his brother be released from the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola. “It’s time for him to come home,” Master P said in the video shared by Nola.com. “They have no more wit- nesses. They already came and recanted their state- ments.”
At the rally, C-Murder's attorney, Paul Barker, also spoke on his behalf. "Justice needs to be served for the family of that victim," he stated. "But an innocent man in jail for something he didn't do is no justice.”
Barker has petitioned the court to overturn the convic- tion and order a new trial.
