Rap star Nas sure knows how to pick his investments. The rapper's Queensbridge Venture Partners has scored another huge payday, with the acquisition of PillPack.
Amazon announced it was purchasing PillPack, which is an online pharmacy that streamlined the delivery of medication to patients in all 50 states in the U.S.
Queensbridge Venture Partners participated in a funding round with seven other investors back in 2014, raising a total of $8.8 million. In total, total PillPack raised over $118 million dollars be- fore it was sold off to Amazon today for a cool billion.
“PillPack makes it simple for any customer to take the

right medication at the right time, and feel healthier,” said TJ Parker, co-founder and CEO of PillPack.
In March, Nas' investment firm hit big after Ring an- nounced it had been acquired for $1 billion by Amazon as well.
On Friday morning, Meek Mill released his first official project since being released from prison in April.
The Legends Of The Sum- mer EP contains 4 records, in- cluding the Miguel-assisted "Stay Woke." Swizz Beatz, Jeremih, and PnB Rock were also tapped for the proj- ect.
Meek debuted "Stay Woke" at the BET Awards last month. The Dreamchasers leader received widespread praise for the politically charged per- formance.
Meek Mill has been busy since his release from prison.
Tupac Shakur was fatally shot while riding with Suge Knight in Las Vegas in 1996. His alleged killer, Orlando Anderson, was never brought to justice, but was murdered in a shootout in 1998. Ander- son’s uncle is now telling what he knows.
The Las Vegas police an- nounced on last Wednesday that they still plan to keep the Tupac Shakur murder case open following a confes- sion that was given earlier this year.
BET docuseries Death Row Chronicles, which aired in Feb- ruary, featured an interview with the uncle of a one-time suspect in Shakur’s 1996 drive-by murder.
In the documentary, former gang member Keffe D, whose real name is Duane Keith Davis, recalled being in the front seat of a white Cadillac in Las Vegas when someone sit- ting in the back seat opened fire on the vehicle that Shakur was riding in.
Though he stuck to the code
of the streets and would not say who fired the shots, police had identified Davis’ nephew, Orlando Anderson and De- Andre Smith as the backseat passengers. Anderson was the prime suspect for the mur- der before dying in a shootout in 1998.
According to Las Vegas po- lice, this information is enough to keep the case open. Keffe D decided to talk be- cause he is battling cancer, and his nephew is already dead.
Nas Cashes In Big Again On Investment
XXXTentacion signed a $10 million deal for the release of his third album a few weeks before he was shot and killed in June.
According to The New York Times, the rapper had worked out an agreement with Empire, the independent music com- pany that released his first album 17, for the release of his follow-up to 2018's sophomore effort ?.
Ghazi Shami, Empire's founder, told the Times that X had completed "a significant amount of material" for the album, but a release schedule had not yet been laid out. The deal is said to be worth around $10 million.
The report also states that due to a clause in XXXTenta- cions's last contract with Car- oline (through Universal Music Group), the album will likely not be able to see release until at least October. The Caroline deal for ? was worth approxi- mately $6 million, per the re- port.

XXXTentacion's music has seen a huge increase in streams following his death. The week after he passed, his single "SAD!" hit No. 1 on the Hot 100, making him the first lead artist to posthumously top the chart since The Notori- ous B.I.G with "Mo Money Mo Problems" in 1997.

arrested last week and charged with depraved murder without premeditation, violation of probation and driving without a license for his involvement in the shooting, authorities said.
Investigators think Will- iams, 22, was at the wheel of an SUV that blocked the rap- per’s BMW outside the dealer- ship and that two of his alleged masked accomplices jumped out to rob the musician.
