WILSON
MR. PERK BUSH, JR. ‘SMOKEY’
A celebration of life service for Mr. Perk “Smokey” Bush, Jr., who passed on March 1, 2022, will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. David Jones, Sr., officiating.
Mr. Perk Bush, Jr., was born in Lamont, Florida on December 26, 1939, to the parentage of Perk and Ethel Bush.
He accepted Christ at an early age. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and later became a heavy equip- ment operator for Cone Brothers until his retirement.
Perk, Jr., enjoyed fishing, cooking, traveling, playing domi- noes, listening to music and being with his wife, Alberta “Pankey” Bush.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Perk Bush, Sr., and Ethel Bush; brothers, Rubin and James Bush.
Mr. Bush leaves to cherish pre- cious memories of him with: wife, Alberta Bush; sons, Calvin and Steven Bush; daughters, Kimberly and Monica Bush, Christine Laster, Sabrina Marsh and KaT- rina Williams; a host of grandchil- dren and great grandchildren; brothers, Roosevelt Bush (Joan), Ronnie Bush (Crystal), Gary Bush (Shelia) and Keith Bush; sisters, Barbara Ann Burnett, Dorothy Bush, Vanderlyn Bush, Debra Jean Edwards (Jack) and Cynthia Bush; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and family in and around the Tampa Bay area, Thonotosassa, Dade City, Lamont, Florida as well as the New York City area.

MS. FLORASTINE M. ANDERSON
A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Florastine M. Anderson, who passed on March 5, 2022, will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church, 2101 N. Lowe Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Dr. Glenn B. Dames, Sr., Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Florastine Anderson was born on February 21, 1931, to the parentage of Fred Anderson, Sr., and Viola Brown. Florastine at- tended both Gibbs Junior College and FAMU for her higher learning as well as, successfully graduating from these two prestigious institu- tions.
Ms. Anderson has held several jobs while working on her educa- tion goal of becoming a teacher, and one of those jobs was working at Morrison Cafeteria.
Ms. Anderson was a faithful employee of the Hillsborough County School system for many years and touched many young lives during her tendered. She was a good neighbor and friend in her community and never thought twice about helping others near and far.
Ms. Florastine Anderson was preceded in death by: her mother, Viola Brown; father, Fred Ander- son, Sr.; brother, Fred Anderson, Jr.; son, Cornel Ricardo Anderson; aunt, Thelma Richardson; uncles, Ulysses Johnson, Sr., and Claude Johnson; cousin, Ulysses Johnson, Jr., (Lucky); grandsons, Tyrell An- tonio Brown, Sr., and Cedric Brown.
Florastine leaves to cherish memories with: her daughters, Faye Anderson Henley, (Joe) and Cheryl L. Anderson (Fred); grand- children, Terrence Brown, Xavier Wright, Tremel Henley, Trevena Henley and Fredrina Brown; great grandchildren, LaKia Brown, Dia- mond Henley, Brianna Brown, Tyrell Brown, Jr., Zion Brown, Xavon Wright, ZyJuan Johnson, Taylor King Brown and Taliyah Brown; cousins, Claudette McAdoo and family, and Timothy Richard- son and family; godson, Garcia Jones; special friends, Edna But- ler, Vera Spencer, Annette and fam- ily, Joyce Hill, Emma Lee Williams, Johnnie Blue; her other special friends from Forest Hills Elemen- tary, LifePath Hospice (Burgundy team), Dr. Theophilus Sai, Vera Walker and family, Pastor Donald and Marie White, other relatives and friends.

MR. ELI BENJAMIN CHISOM, JR.
Funeral Services for Mr. Eli Benjamin Chisom, Jr., who passed on February 28, 2022 will be held on Saturday March 12, 2022, at 12:00 noon at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with Minister Kobi Gainous, Officiating.
Mr. Eli Benjamin Chisom, Jr., was born in Tampa, Florida to the parentage of Eli Chisom, Sr., and Shirley Chisom on July 3, 1974.
Eli, Jr., was a loving and de- voted son, husband, father, grand- father, brother, uncle and friend. He grew up in Hillsborough County and received his education through the Hillsborough County School System.
He received Christ at an early age. He was employed with different establishments throughout Hills- borough County. He also owned a lawn care service with his father and son.
Mr. Chisom was preceded in death by: his parents, Shirley and Eli Chisom, Sr.; son, Deontra Chi- som; daughter, Beonca Chisom; and cousin, Danna Smith.
Mr. Eli Benjamin Chisom, Jr., leaves to cherish precious memo- ries with his loving and devoted wife of 29 years, Dekeisha; son, Eli, III; daughter, Savannah (Aeneas, Sr.,); first grandson, Aeneas Jarvis, Jr.; in-laws, Nathaniel and Sharon Kelly; grandmother, Johnnie E. MOTHER CORA LEE WOODARD FLOYD
Mother Cora Lee Woodard Floyd of Tampa passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022. A Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, March 12, at 2:00 p.m. at College Hill Church of God in Christ, 6414 N. 30th Street, Tampa, FL, 33610, with Superin- tendent Charles Davis, Pastor and Eulogist and Pastor Jesse H. Smalley, II, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.
Mother Cora Lee Woodard Floyd was a native of Clayton, Al- abama, born to Albert and Annis Brooks Woodard. She was edu- cated in the public schools of Bar- bour County, AL. She learned the importance of serving others at a young age and this attribute was reflected in her career choices.
As a young child, she loved helping others in her community. She worked as a Health Care Pro- fessional, Day Care Teacher and Caregiver, which allowed her to touch lives in her own special way.
She united in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life, Deacon Alex Andrew Floyd, Sr., in 1958. To- gether they relocated to Tampa, Florida over 60 years ago and was blessed with 9 loving children.
Mother Floyd accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful Ambassador for God and served in the following ministries: New Friendship M. B. Church under the leadership Reverend H.L. Daniels, Mt. Sinai Holiness Church under the leadership of Bishop James Cochran, The Heal- ing Temple Church under the leadership of Bishop P. J. Welch and College Hill Church of God in Christ under the leaderships of Bishop W. E. Davis and Superin- tendent Charles Davis.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and
loyal friend.
She was preceded in death
by: her parents; aunt, Ella Mae Emerson; siblings, Rosie Mae Wilson, Ruby Woodard, Mamie Jean Willis and Sallie Harris, whom she transitioned with on 3/3/2022.
She leaves to cherish memo- ries of her with: loving and de- voted husband of 64 years, Deacon Alex Andrew Floyd, Sr.; her loving and devoted children, Beverly (Antonio), Alex Floyd, Jr., Mary Ann (Ivra), Christo- pher, Sr., (Maevonia), Celeva (Dwight), Carol Ann, Don- amechia (Joe), Rufus, Sr., (Mary) and Kathryn; 25 grand- children, Aundroushe, Anton- ishia (Thomas), Jeremiah, Nicole, Alex, III, Michael, De- marcus, Jackie, Timothy, Shel- ton, Dominique, Christopher, Jr., (Tacora), She’miah, Angel, Dwight, Jr., Dewan, Cierra, Dar- win, Markzavier, Christopher, Eric, III, Erionna, India, Curtis, III, and Rufus, Jr.; 23 great grandchildren; her loving sib- lings, Fannie Burks, Carolyn Jones, Annie Woodard, Mildred Woodard and Elmer (Annie Doris) Woodard; brothers-in- law, Hosie Floyd and Clinton Willis; sisters-in-law, Mattie Lou Gilbert, Emma Neal Holloway, Henrietta Brown, Essie Mae Wright (Benjamin), Catherine Henderson and Yvette Floyd; a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own children; godchildren, Catherine Coley, Corey Coley (Ica), and Ed- ward Bailey (Dena); a host of cousins; many “God” children for she touch the lives of all she came in contact with and gained many bonus sons, daughters and grandchildren; her College Hill Church of God In Christ church family, COGIC Church family, The Woodland Terrace Neigh- borhood Watch Grid #055 and she was blessed with many loyal and faithful friends who became a part of her extended relatives.
