MR. LAMOUNT VONVELL THOMPSON
A Homegoing Service for Mr. LaMount Vonvell Thomp- son, who passed on March 2, 2022, will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Rayford Harper, Offi- ciating.
Mr. LaMount Vonvell Thompson was born on Decem- ber 12, 1973, in Tampa, Florida to the parentage of Billy Rogers (deceased) and Rhonda Williams. He was a resident of Palm River Village and a grad- uate of Hillsborough High School. LaMount loved his family, friends, the Dallas Cow- boys, however, the biggest love of his life was his daughter, Zharia.
Loving memories of him will always be cherished by: his daughter, Zharia Thompson; mother, Rhonda Williams; fa- ther, Rodney Williams; grand- parents, Alphonso Thompson and Eleanor Thompson; sib- lings, Dr. Rewa Chisholm (Xxavier), Rodney Williams, Jr., John James, Elizabeth Rogers, April Owens; uncles, Derric Thompson (Bridgette), Alphonso Thompson, Jr., (Natasha); a host of nieces and nephews; longtime partner and friend, Annastovia Davis; cousins, Derric, Jr., Ebony, Ronda, Amanda, Darrion, Tatiyana, Derrell, Demarcus, Derricika, Dazha, Karee, Ash- ley, Kim, Raeneisha, Jovan and other family members and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, March 11, 2022, at Wil- son Funeral Home from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m.

1SGT. HAPIN MYERS, SR. (RET.)
Former Middleton High Drum Major Passed
Mr. Harpin Myers was born in Tampa, Florida, the son of the late Anthony and Pauline Myers. Harpin was one of six children and spent his early years in Tampa, and as a Drum Major for Middleton High School.
Once he graduated from Mid- dleton, he attended Florida A & M University to study Dentistry, but was drafted into the Army, where he spent the next twenty-four years of his life traveling the globe and serving his country.
While stationed at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, he met the love of his life, Margaret Johnson, who he would be married to for sixty-six years and would raise a family of eight children.
He was preceded in crossing over by: his loving wife, Mar- garet, and son, Todd.
1SGT (RET) Myers is survived by: seven children and their spouses, Harpin, Jr. and Kristina, Sylvania, Chris and Lynn, Mel, Eric, and Sandra, Ronnie and Kimberly, Patrick and Wendy. He also leaves be- hind 27 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren; brother, Randolph (Commissioner Gwen) Myers; and other relatives and friends.
1SGT Myers, Sr. will be laid to rest at the Central Texas Vet- eran’s Cemetery in Killeen, Texas on Thursday, March 10, at 10 AM.

Tony passed away on Tues- day, February 15, 2022 in Bradenton, Florida, in a traffic accident.
Tony is survived by: his mother, Ethel Golfin; siblings, Jessy Golfin, Jr., Derron Golfin, Norman Golfin, Latonia Single- ton, Jeffry Golfin; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Jessy Golfin, Sr. and grandparents, Ernest/Martha Dent; Willie Golfin, Sr. and Rena Cochran.
Please join us for a Memorial Tribute Cookout and balloon re- lease honoring Tony’s Life on Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 1-3 p. m., at Al Barnes Park, lo- cated at 2904 N. 32nd St., Tampa, FL 33605.
