Bucs To Host Raiders At Raymond James
Ciara, Seahawks' Russell Wilson Announce Pregnancy
CIARA AND RUSSELL WILSON
Ciara is expecting her first child with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, nearly four months after the couple tied the knot.
Both stars announced the pregnancy by sharing the same photo on Instagram on Tues- day night. Ciara, who turned 31 on Tuesday, says she is "ex- cited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give." Wilson calls the baby "The Greatest Blessing of All."
This is the 27-year-old Wil- son's first child. Ciara has a 2-year-old son from a previous relationship with rapper Fu- ture.
Wilson and Ciara fa- mously abstained from sex be- fore their July wedding in England. They had been dating since early last year.
Derrick Rose: Knicks Have 'Much Room To Improve' After Rout By Cavs
DERRICK ROSE
New York Knicks star guard Derrick Rose summed up his first night as a New York Knick: "Thank God this is the first game."
Rose and the Knicks fell to the defending champion Cleve- land Cavaliers117-88 on Tues- day in their season opener. It was an ugly debut for the new- look Knicks, but head coach Jeff Hornacek saw some positive moments for Rose.
"He had that good explo- sion," Hornacek said of Rose, who scored 17 points (7- for-17 shooting) in 29 minutes. "He's just got to figure out all of the stuff that we're doing, and he'll be a big part of our team and really help us."
Rose noted after the game that he's still getting acclimated to the Knicks' offense. In par- ticular, he's still getting used to the portions of the offense that employ the triangle, Phil Jackson's signature ap- proach.
Mike Evans Showing He's Up To Task Of Being Jameis Winston's No. 1 Receiver

again lead the ground attack for the Buccaneers.
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers are a half-game out of first place in the NFC South, and the team is coming off an impressive 34-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
This Sunday, the Bucs will be hosting the Oakland Raiders at Raymond James Stadium with kickoff sched- uled for 1 p. m.
The Raiders, with Jack Del Rio as head coach, have vastly improved this season, and will bring their 5-2 record to Tampa, along with a revamped offense and de- fense.
The Bucs (3-3) will again be led by second year quar- terback, Jameis Winston, and third year wide receiver, Mike Evans, who is tied for the league lead with six re- ceiving touchdowns.
The Bucs have also gotten excellent play from tight end, Cameron Brate, and new-

comer, Jacquizz Rodgers, who has carried the ball 69 times for 324 yards in sub- bing for the injured Doug Martin.
With Mike Smith run- ning the Buccaneer defense, they are second in the league in third conversions, holding opponents to just 33%. The defense has been led by line- backer Kwon Alexander with 53 tackles and two sacks. He’s also scored the team’s only defensive touch- down, returning an intercep- tion 38 yards for a score.
Defensive end, Gerald McCoy, is still the face of the defense, and leads the team with three sacks.
Regardless of what the At- lanta Falcons do this week- end, with a Buccaneer victory, they will keep pace with the division leading Fal- cons, a team they beat in their first game of the season.
Mike Evans took a hard shot to the ribs in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers, but it did little to slow the Tampa Bay Buccaneers third-year receiver, who caught two touchdown passes from Jameis Winston in a 34-17 win.
Most importantly, it showed that Evans can han- dle being Winston's No. 1 re- ceiver and the player opposing defenses key in on every game -- something he didn't show last season, when Vincent Jackson went down with a knee injury. This year, with Jackson sidelined again this week, Evans looked ready to take on the role.
He finished the game with eight catches (13 targets) for 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Winston went 21-of-30 for 269 passing yards, three touchdowns and a

passer rating of 117.2. It was his sixth career game with a passer rating of 100 or higher.
Evans has six touchdowns in six games. Sunday marked his fourth career multi-touch- down game, which ties him with Jimmie Giles for sec- ond-most such games in team history. One more game like that, and he'll tie Joey Gal- loway for the franchise record. Also, Winston's 34 career touchdowns in just 22 career games tie him with Craig Erickson for the sev- enth-most passing touch- downs in Buccaneers history.

Cavaliers' Iman Shumpert Leaves Game After Colliding With Kristaps Porzingis
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert exited his team's 117-88 season-opening win over the New York Knicks with concussion-like symp- toms in the fourth quarter on Tuesday and did not return.
Shumpert hit his head against Kristaps Porzingis' hip with 5:34 remaining.
"I'll live," Shumpert told ESPN on his way out of the arena when asked about his status.
Shumpert was filling in at backup point guard for the Cavs, with the rookie Kay

Kevin Durant On Warriors Debut: Loss To Spurs 'Woke Us Up A Bit'
Kevin Durant came ready to play in his Golden State Warriors debut in front of a sold-out home audience, but his teammates didn't.
Durant went for a team- high 27 points on 10 of 17 shooting in 37 minutes to go with 10 rebounds. He was the lone bright spot for the War- riors, as they lost their season opener in blowout fashion to the San Antonio Spurs 129- 100 on Tuesday night at Ora- cle Arena.
"Kevin is so good that he's going to look good in any set- ting with any group of four around him," said Warriors coach Steve Kerr. "It wasn't about Kevin at all. It wasn't about one particular player; it was about the group."
Durant scored Golden State's first field goal of the season with a fadeaway jumper over the smaller Tony Parker, and that was just the beginning.
KEVIN DURANT
The Warriors were outper- formed in multiple facets of the game, resulting in an 18- point deficit at the half. They struggled to get consecutive defensive stops and were un- able to put together a legiti- mate comeback. Meanwhile, the Spurs just continued to pile on.
"It's a nice little slap in the face," Golden State guard Stephen Curry said, after registering 26 points and burying three treys.
Durant agreed, saying, "It's a slap in the face. It woke us up a bit, and we're looking forward to getting better."
