What’s Wrong With Russell Wilson And The Seattle Seahawks?
Floyd Mayweather’s New Jeep Wrangler Is Ferocious
FLOYD MAYWEATHER’S ... New Jeep Wrangler
Floyd Mayweather had four of his luxury toys burned to the ground, one of which was a highly customized Jeep Wrangler. He invested approx- imately $100,000 in the off- roader’s aftermarket upgrades, but it all went down the drain. However, it didn’t take much for the five-division retired boxer to get back on track and order a better 4x4 that he could add to his eccentric car fleet.
The trailer that burst into flames was transporting Floyd’s Bentley, two Rolls- Royce and the customized Jeep Wrangler about a week ago when something went wrong and it caught on fire. Pictures of the aftermath showed how most of the vehicles burned to the ground. Most likely, the luxury cars were insured, but even so, we’re pretty sure May- weather was infuriated by the unfortunate event.
There’s no word on what ac- tually happened that night, whether it was an arson attack or an accident, but it appears the champ didn’t wait for things to blow over to get right back to what he loves most: buying cars.
As we were telling you guys earlier this week, May- weather recently paid a visit to Alex Vega, the owner of a Miami-based custom shop. It’s the same place that took care of his other Jeep Wrangler, so it was only natural for the retired boxer to go straight to the same location with his new 4x4 ride.

What has happened to Rus- sell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks?
That is the question people are wondering after yet, an- other loss. For the first time in a while the Seattle Seahawks are two games under.500 after losing (via NFL.com) to the Carolina Panthers 27-23. What is worse is that the loss came at CenturyLink Field. It is only the third home defeat since Russell Wilson was named the starting quarterback in 2011.
A last-minute drive, capped off by a Greg Olsen touch- down catch from Cam Newton is what put the Panthers ahead. The game’s conclusion, as Seattle Seahawks corner- back Richard Sherman stated was caused by some miscommunication (via ESPN), will only create ques- tions. Questions which the Seahawks must find answers for quickly.
A quick turnaround for the Seattle Seahawks takes place. They have a game this Thurs- day against the San Francisco 49ers team whom they are tied with in the standings. First, they must figure out what is going wrong, so they can fix it before squaring off with their division rival.
Nothing against a solid Pan- thers team, but the Seahawks are supposed to be a dominant team in their home stadium.
The Seahawks’ 2-4 record is
RUSSELL WILSON
head scratching for a team who has appeared in the last two Super Bowls. Everything was breaking the Seattle Seahawks’ way.
Something that the Seattle Seahawks do not have is offen- sive chemistry. That starts with the offensive line and contin- ues all the way to Russell Wilson.
The Carolina Panthers sacked Wilson four times. Op- posing defenders have gotten to Russell Wilson 26 times in total this season. That is an average of 4.3 sacks a game. Football-Reference had his sack index percentage at 59 percent entering the Panthers game. The NFL average is 100. 59 is at the lowest of any time in his career.
Wilson not having the time to drop back and throw the football hurts the Seahawks. It stalls the offense.
Landry Jones To Start, Vick’s Career Over
The end may be near for
Michael Vick.
As the Steelers won and im- proved their record to 4-2 and held onto a solid second place in the AFC North, they found a new gunslinger in Landry Jones. The third year quarter- back has given life to the Pitts- burgh Steelers offense. His development may be the jolt in the arm that the Steelers need to show they mean business.
Landry’s services were called upon in the third quarter of the Steelers’ showdown against the Arizona Cardinals. Michael Vick first went out with what was called “dirt” in his eye. Then he went out per- manently with a hamstring in- jury. Steelers’ head coach Mike Tomlin wasn’t clear on the severity of that injury.
With the Steelers playing from behind, Landry took command of the offense and led the Steelers to scores on three scoring drives. He ran the offense like Big Ben’s little brother. That’s what Steelers’ running back LeVeon Bell called him. Jones was so like Roethlisberger that Bell let his feelings be known via the Boston Herald.
The Steelers have already started to rally behind the No. 3 quarterback. His play in- spired the team and impressed the Arizona Cardinals’ coaches. Head coach Bruce Arians
LANDRY JONES
wasn’t shy with his praise.
“He played very well for a young guy to come in in that situation,” Arians said. “He
won the football game.”
The Steelers’ offense became confident and steady as soon as Landry broke the first huddle. He found open receivers, made quick decisions, and generally ran the team like Roethlis- berger. His steadying influ- ence was appreciated by the
Heinz Field faithful.
There was an outside chance
that Big Ben could start next week. The Steelers play the Kansas City Chiefs, without the services of Jamaal Charles. The Chiefs’ main back is out for the season with a torn ACL. With the Steelers facing the one-dimensional Chiefs, the option may be to start Landry and save Roethlisberger for the division game against the Bengals in Week 8.
