MRS. BETTY MCNAIR BAKER
Homegoing services for Mrs. Betty McNair Baker, who departed this life on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 2 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, 33610, with Apostle Phillip, and Pastor Angela Jenkins, officiating. Interment will be in made in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Betty McNair Baker was born December 22, 1936. She was a student of the Bleckley County School Sys- tem, Cochran, Georgia. Betty resided in Tampa for 43 years. She retired from Ra- mada Inn after 25 years.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Johnny Lee Baker; her parents, Johnnie B. and Roberta Folson; sis- ter, Jestine King Coleman; and brothers, Columbus Fol- son and Milton Mifflin.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Mrs. Bertha Knighton, Betty Tim- mons and Bobbie Mathis; sister, Mrs. Christine Bun- den; grandchildren, Shamika Knighton, Torrence Knighton, Willie Knighton, Jr., LaShawndra Knighton, Kenneth Timmons, Anissa Mathis, Katoya Bledsoe, Sheldricka Mathis, Brandi Mathis Larry Brown, Jerry McNair, Anita Brown and Wilbert Brown; aunt, Adell Yabor; nephews, William Bunden, Jr. and wife, Lillie, and Wilbert King; nieces, Maxine Griggs and Dorothy; 20 great grands; 4 godchil- dren, Frances Wilmore, Oscar Hills, Charles Wade and Janice Sneed; special cousin, Jethoran Hall and wife, Veronica; special friends, Janie Wilson, Lou- vina Tillman, Joyce Parham, Marton Calton, Marcia Dar- saw and Linda Jenkens; a host of other sorrowing fam- ily and friends.
Visitation for Mrs. Betty McNair Baker will be held Friday evening from 5-8 p. m.
The funeral processional will assemble at 1:45 p. m. on Saturday.

Celebration of life service for Deacon Christopher Sin- gleton, who transitioned April 19, 2016, will be held Satur- day, April 30, 2016, at 2 p. m. at First Baptist Church of Col- lege Hill, 3838 N. 29th St., Rev. Evan Burrows, pastor, offici- ating. Interment Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery.
Deacon Singleton was born December 15, 1927, in Bascom, FL, to the late Mas- ter D. Singleton and Alberta Singleton.
He joined the church at an early age. He attended schools in Jackson County. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of College Hill, until his health began to fail. He served our country in the United States Army.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: wife, Anna Sin- gleton; 2 sons, Alexander Singleton and Donald Single- ton (Barbara); 25 grandchil- dren and a host of great grandchildren; brother, Robert Singleton (Hazel); 2 sisters, Jenniette Mathis and Hazel Singleton; aunts, Lillie Ruth Sims and Dolly Straf- ford; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Fri- day, April 29, 2016, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3005 E. Ellicott, from 5-8 p. m. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p. m. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 1:45 p. m. at the church for the service.
Funeral cortege will leave from 3028 N. Avenida Re- publica De Cuba, Tampa, 33605, at 1:30 p. m.

MS. PATRICIA ANN SWILLEY
Funeral services for Ms. Patricia Ann Swilley will be held at 1 p. m., Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Glorious Church of God with Deliver- ance, 3501 N. Central Av- enue, Pastor James Dixon; with Minister Pernell Scott, officiating.
Patricia was born August 26, 1960, in Tampa, to par- ents, Waymon Milledge Swil- ley, Sr. and Ruby Swilley. Patricia received her educa- tion in the public schools of Hillsborough County, gradu- ating from Robinson High School, and Erwin Voca- tional Tech, as a seamstress.
Patricia was preceded in death by: her father, Way- mon Milledge Swilley, Sr.; and her mother, Ruby Swil- ley.
She leaves to cherish her memory: loving daughters, Shequilla Viliere and Cay- lynn Smith; grandson, Angel Butler; siblings, Waymon Swilley, Jr., Bertha (John- nie) Williams, and Vanessa Williams; nephews, Waymon Swilley, III, Cardale Harri- son, Jermaine Shannon, Shaunquin Hill, Eddie Shan- non, Jr., and Purcell Hill; nieces, Laura (Michael) Har- ris, Tauheedah (Reggie) Bar- rett, Carol Hill and Jenika Shannon; uncle, J. C. Scott; special friend, Samuel Mc- Claurin; close family friend, Lois Buie; and a host of cousins, great nephews and great nieces, other relatives and friends.

MR. GARY LEE COOK
Mr. Gary Lee Cook, affec- tionately known as "Gator C" of Wesley Chapel, FL, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016.
Local funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 30 at 11 a. m. at Bridgewater Church, 30660 Wells Road, Wesley Chapel, FL.
Funeral services held in Perry, FL, will be conducted Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 2:30 p. m. at Antioch Baptist Church, 708 W. Lance Drive, Perry, FL, 32348, with Rev- erend George Edward Kim- ble "Revy Rev"/Hobbie Jr." officiating. Interment will be held Sunday, May 1 immedi- ately following the service in Spring Hill Cemetery, Perry, FL.
Mr. Cook was a native of Perry, FL, and a resident of the Tampa Bay area for 30 years. He received his educa- tion from Jerkins School, Perry, FL, and continued his education after relocating to Tampa, at Tampa Bay Vo- Tech High School.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Clay Cook, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife and soul mate of 22 years, Cindy Fay Jackson; children, Darrell Lewis Cook (Sasha), Tanishia M. Cook (Jamay), and Tiona S. Cook (Qumibly); 9 grand- children and 2 great grand- children; mother, Sadie Mae Foster Cook; mother-in-law, Roberta Cummings of Mt. Vernon, GA; siblings, Clay M. Cook (Honor), Angelica K. Cook (Archie), and Kimberly L. Howard Avenue, with Minis- ter Jacqueline Marshall, offi- ciating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Dowdell was a native of Americus, Georgia, and was a resident of Tampa for 58 years.
She was a graduate of Brewster Technical Center.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Mr. Freddie Dowdell; sister, Priscilla Dowdell; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Ann Dowdell.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Al- berta Dowdell; two devoted daughters, Mrs. Priscilla M. Dowdell-Stephens (William Stephens, Sr.), and Kim- berly C.
