Cast Of ‘The Real’ Break Silence Since Tamar Was Fired
'Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta' Cast May Be Losing Their Jobs
Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid is interested in turning his tell- all memoir Sing To Me into a movie, Variety reports.
"I wrote the book, [but] it’s up to someone else to tell the story on film," Reid tells the publication on the Epic Fest red carpet on Saturday (June 25).
With the massive success of
Straight Outta Compton, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story and hype behind upcoming Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me, it would make sense as to why Reid would want to tap into that market.

The remaining hosts of The Real have finally opened up with their thoughts on Tamar Braxton's abrupt exit from the show in their first group in- terview.
It's been just barely over one month since the surprising news of Tamar's firing broke and although Tamar herself began speaking out with her side of things almost immedi- ately, her former co-hosts re- mained relatively quiet apart from a few social media posts here and there (some of which have since been deleted.)

According to reports by BET and other outlets, producers are tired of the fights and shenanigans of the cast of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta," a reality show that follows the careers and tangled romantic relationships of music stars in the Georgia city. Producers are reportedly so over the violence, cast members may not be in- vited back next season.
Since debuting in 2012, the show has landed at the top of the Monday night cable rat- ings, according to Zap2it.com. But many of its episodes fea- ture cast members viciously fighting on screen. The show

said they were just as stunned as everyone else when they learned that Tamar had been fired.
“First of all, we want to let all of our fans know that we love them," Loni said in response to Mario's question on how they felt about Tamar no longer being apart of the show. "We were totally taken by sur-
prise when we found out that Tamar wouldn’t be returning to The Real. We love her.”
Adrienne also chimed in to agree when Mario recalled how well all of the ladies seemed to have gotten along prior to Tamar's exit, while Tamera closed out the group's quick commentary on the topic with a simple "we miss her dearly."
Finding Dory Outpacing Independence Day Sequel At Box Office
Finding Dory and Independence Day
has been hit with several law- suits, according to Inquisitr.com.
The show has also been re- peatedly criticized for portray- ing a negative image of African-Americans.
Whether the series will have
a completely new cast or be dropped altogether is unclear. However, "Love and Hip Hop" shows set in New York and Hollywood are continuing. And there have been rumors that the franchise is coming to Houston.
It’s a battle between two long-anticipated sequels in the race for No. 1 this weekend, with Disney-Pixar’s “Finding Dory” emerging the victor on Friday with $23.2 million from 4,305 screens.
The animated feature, which broke records during last week- end’s opener, came in ahead of 20th Century Fox’s “Indepen-
dence Day: Resurgence,”
which grossed $16.8 million on Friday during its debut week- end, playing in 4,066 theaters.
Columbia Pictures shark thriller “The Shallows” is pac- ing far ahead of expectations, earning $6.9 million on Friday alone — just under initial pre- dictions of its entire weekend take.

Bill Cosby Accuser Drops Defamation Suit
A 73-year-old woman who accused Bill Cosby of at- tempted rape dropped her defamation lawsuit against the comedian Friday (June 24). Kristina Ruehli of New Hampshire, says she walked away from the legal battle be- cause she achieved her goal of illuminating Cosby’s numer- ous sexual assault accusations.
Ruehli withdrew the suit a day after a U.S. District Judge Mark G. Mastroianni ruled that it could continue.
Ruehli is the oldest known
accuser among dozens of women who say Cosby either tired or succeeded at sexually assaulting them at some point over the last four decades. She claims Cosby drugged and at- tempted to rape her in 1965, when she was a 22-year-old secretary at a Los Angeles tal- ent agency.
Ruehli maintained that her suit wasn’t motivated by money or publicity. But after spending $80,000 of her own money. she chose to walk away.
