SISTER PRINCESS MAE FERGUSON HARRIS
Sister Princess Mae Fer- guson Harris on December 11, 2019 slipped calmly into the arms of Jesus. Homego- ing Celebration will be held on Saturday December 21, 2019, at 11 a. m. at St. John Cathedral, 3401 E. 25th Av- enue, Tampa, Florida, with Pastor Dwight Newkirk, offi- ciating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
Sister Princess Mae Fer- guson Harris was born De- cember 12, 1929 in Cuthbert, Calhoun County, Georgia. She was the daughter of Warren and Princella Fergu- son. Mrs. Harris was raised up in Cuthbert, Georgia, where she received her early years of education. She was brought up in a religious home and was taught to fear God.
In 1939 she joined Viola Lula Missionary Baptist Church, where she was bap- tized by the late Rev. Camp- bell in Cuthbert, Georgia.
In 1941 she moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she continued her schooling
and joined the Second Bap- tist Church.
Sister Princess Harris met Dave B. Harris in 1947 and one year later they were united in holy matrimony on March 22, 1948.They later travelled extensively, their first stay was in Houston, Texas, where they joined the Independent Baptist Church.
In 1949 they moved to Newark, N. J., where they joined Metropolitan Mis- sionary Baptist Church.
They later moved to Balti- more, MD and joined Union Temple Missionary Baptist Church. They moved to Tampa, Florida in early 1950 and here they joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church (St. John Cathedral). She was an active member, a faithful worker and served in several capacities in the church until her health failed.
Deacon Harris preceded her in death on January 10, 1994.
Sister Harris is survived by nieces, Madie J. Williams-Lock and husband, Clifford, Linda Williams McLean and Betty L. Williams-Ward; nephews, Alphonso Nephew, Willie Clifford Johnson and wife, Mattie, Alphonso and Charles E. Williams; sister- in-law, Odessa Ferguson; other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, from 5 – 8 p. m. Friends are asked to assem- ble at the church on Satur- day at approximately 10:45 a. m.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Thomas Butler Ramsey, Jr. will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019, from 7- 8:30 P. M., at Macedonia M. B. Church, 9750 Rockhill Rd., Thonotosassa, FL 33592.
Mr. Ramsey was laid to rest on Saturday, December 14, 2019, in Appling, GA.
