South Carolina Police Say DMX Lookalike Is Wanted For Attempted Murder
COLUMBIA, SC – A DMX doppelgänger is reportedly wanted for attempted murder by South Carolina police. After the Columbia Police De- partment released a police sketch of the suspect last month, people were quick to point out the similarities.
According to The State, South Carolina Law Enforce- ment Division spokesperson Thom Berry explained the witness said, “The guy looks a lot like DMX.”
On June 19, officers found a 27-year-old man at an apart- ment complex who’d been shot in the lower body. Wit- nesses reported they’d heard the victim and another unidentified male arguing

moments before shots rang out.
Police released the sketch on June 24, saying the draw- ing was done “with the assis- tance of a crime witness” who insisted the suspect looked
like the Grammy Award-nom- inated rapper. However, Co- lumbia Police Department Deputy Chief Melron Kelly made sure to explain DMX is not a suspect in the case.
“I guarantee you he’s not,” Kelly said.
In order to complete a sketch, the witness talks with the artist so he or she can get a feel for the overall features and look. In this case, the artist started with the photo of DMX and went from there.
”We always let the witness dictate the process and how everything unfolds,” Berry said. “We make sure the wit- ness sees everything we do and is comfortable with what- ever rendering that we make.
The 20-year-old actor, who starred in several Disney shows including "Descendants," could not be revived after paramedics rushed to his home ... this ac- cording to law enforcement sources.
Cameron's family said he had an ongoing medical condi- tion and died in his sleep ... the result of a seizure.
Cameron starred in both the 'Descendants' TV series and movies. He was filming a new HBO show, "Mrs. Fletcher."
Although he was only 20, Cameron racked up a series of hits, appearing in "Grown Ups" and "Grown Ups 2" ... he played one of Adam Sandler's kids.
The actor was only 11 when he first appeared on the Disney Channel. Other credits include "Shake it Up," "Austin & Ally" and "Good Luck Charlie." His breakout role was playing Luke on "Jessie," which ran for 4 sea- sons.
The family said Saturday, “He passed away in his sleep due to

a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and com- passion of all who knew and loved him,”
The family spokesperson went on ... “We are utterly heart- broken and ask for privacy dur- ing this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our pre- cious son and brother.”

Offset May Be The Subject Of A Federal Investigation After His Gun Charges Were Dropped
In the ultimate case of “good news, bad news,” Off- set, who was facing charges for gun possession, now has even bigger problems on his plate after the charges were dropped. According to TMZ, the only reason the state of Georgia dropped its pending case against the rapper is that the U. S. Attorney’s Office has stepped in and is apparently building a case of its own.
While the report is under- standably light on details right now, as the federal au- thorities didn’t want to reveal what their larger investiga- tion entailed, it’s clear that the feds believed that the trial for his gun possession case would somehow interfere with their bigger fish to fry. Georgia prosecutors told TMZ that continuing the gun case “would alert other po- tential future parties to the investigation and evidence that may support federal charges against said parties.”

over for reasons that the rap- per complained were pretty dicey at the time and charged with felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Now, it appears that an ATF investigation was the real rea- son the traffic stop seemed so suspect in the first place, as court documents show ATF agents asked the Clayton County police to find a reason to pull him over.
Donald Glover’s Disney employers are getting their money’s worth, is all that can be said, as multi-hyphenate, multi-media superstar Don- ald Glover showed up across the street from the Hollywood premiere of the live action Lion King remake in a lion suit. Sitting down for an extended chat with Jimmy Kimmel—whose Jimmy Kimmel Live! studio sits in close proximity to the Dolby Theatre premiere venue—Glover deadpanned his way through the host’s questions in his suspiciously onesie-looking lion skin. Claiming that the Jim Hen- son people had spent five years getting the look just right, Glover, his salt-and- pepper beard poking out through the face-hole, was as relaxed and charming as only an award-winning celebrity can be in a no-doubt hot and itchy lion suit.
Asked by Kimmel about his upcoming Australian make-up dates as musical alter ego Childish Gam- bino, Glover played it somewhat cagey about his announced retirement of the

Gambino moniker. “I think I’m still going to do shows,” said Glover, adding, “I love music.” As to the reason for the make-up shows (Glover broke his foot onstage back in September), Glover did his finest slow-burn in re- sponse to Kimmel asking if that was the most embar- rassing thing to happen to him onstage. “You know what, no,” responded Glover after an expertly timed gesture toward his lion-clad tummy.
Still Glover soldiered on, speaking to his relief that Solo filming meant he was spared having to be in the same room with Lion King co-star and love interest Be- yoncé while they dueted. Asked if the prospect of
recording separately was less intimidating, even for a Grammy-winner such as himself, Glover clapped back smoothly, “Yeah. I guess it’s less intimidating playing basketball with Michael Jordan if you’re at home, just throwing pieces of paper in the trash.”
As to his role as Simba in the “photo-real” GCI extrava- ganza, Glover told Kimmel he tried to play it cool with his Lion King fanatic young son about his involvement, although the boy somehow already knew that Beyoncé was in it. “How did you know that?,” Glover says he asked the boy, before abandoning all pretense of coolness by boasting, “And also daddy’s in it.”
