MRS. INEZ NICKERSON
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Inez Nickerson will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2 p. m., at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd., Tampa, FL, Dr. Sam Maxwell, Senior Teach- ing Pastor, with Minister Thomas Wickes, officiating and Minister Harold Frazier, Eulo- gist. On Monday July 1, 2019, she answered the call of her loving Savior. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL.
Inez Nickerson was born on September 11, 1929 in Clayton, Alabama to the parentage of Willie F. Williams and Ella Mae Palmer. She was educated in the public schools in Clayton, Al- abama.
In 1957, she relocated to Tampa, FL and was a long time resident of the Progress Village Community. She was employed with Aramark Uniform Services for many years until retirement. Inez was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Progress Village.
Inez was preceded in death by: parents, husband, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 3 sons, and 1 grand- son.
Precious memories of Inez will be forever cherished by: her loving children, 2 sons, Willie J. Blackmon, of Jacksonville, FL, Willie K. Blackmon, of Tampa, FL; 4 daughters, Lillie M. Grace, Barbara Hough (Freddie), Lillie A. Blackmon (Edwin) and Car- olyn Blackmon (Mack), all of Tampa, FL; 7 granddaughters, Lisa Smith (Billy) of Gibsonton, FL, Sandra Green (George), Tina Blackmon, Tamara McKin- ney, Pamela Renteria (Carlos), all of Tampa, Angela Gaudette (Wayne) of Ruskin, FL, and Tracey Perez (Jesus) Riverview, FL; 5 grandsons, Reginald Blackmon, Harold Campbell, Jr., of Tampa, Ferman Hough of Parma, OH, Darrell Blackmon of Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Russell McKinney (Anto- nia) of Hudson, FL; 13 grand- children; 35 great grandchildren; 39 great, great, grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sor- rowing relatives and devoted friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 6 – 8 p. m., at First Baptist Church Of Progress Village. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at approximately 1:45 p. m.
