Bruce Arians: Antonio
Kyrie Called LeBron To 'Apologise' After Experiencing The Difficulties Of Leadership
LEBRON JAMES AND KYRIE IRVING
After a turbulent few weeks for the Boston Celtics, Kyrie Irving told reporters Wednesday that he called Le- Bron James to apologise for taking his leadership for granted during their time to- gether in Cleveland.
Now as 'the man' in Boston, Irving is figuring out just how tough it is to bring to- gether a squad and get the best out of everybody in their quest for an NBA champi- onship, saying that he apolo- gised to James for "being that young player that wanted everything at his fingertips."
After Boston's 105-103 loss to the Orlando Magic on Sat- urday, Irving said the "young guys don't know what it takes to be a championship level team," later admitting that he "should have kept it in house" when speaking publically about his younger Celtics teammates.
"I wanted to be all that and the responsibility of being the best player in the world and leading the team is not meant for many people," Irving added. "Bron was one of those guys that came to Cleve- land and really tried to show us what it was like to win a championship, and it was hard for him, and sometimes getting the most out of the group is not the easiest thing in the world.
"I felt like the best person to call was [LeBron] because he's been in this situation," Irving said. "He's been there with me. I've been the young guy being the 22-year-old kid, wanting everything right now, coming off an All-Star year. ... And now I've got to adjust my game to this guy?"
Irving let his game do the talking, leading the Celtics to an impressive 117-108 win over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, finishing with 27 points, a career-high 18 assists and five rebounds, knocking down this CLUTCH triple down the stretch.
Kapernick Says He Never Consulted With Travis Scott On Super Bowl
COLIN KAEPERNICK AND TRAVIS SCOTT
     Brown Has Changed
Since I Was In Pittsburgh
Bruce Arians had been the Steelers' offensive coordi- nator for three seasons when Antonio Brown arrived in 2010 as a sixth-round pick. Arians left after the 2011 campaign and after stops in Indianapolis and Arizona, he was named the Buccaneers' coach earlier this month.
On Tuesday, Arians said he sees a different Brown than the one he knew early in the wide receiver's career.
"There's too much mis- communication, too much ... diva," Arians said during an appearance on The Adam Schefter Podcast. "I've heard so many stories -- I like An- tonio -- he plays as hard as anybody on Sunday, and he practices hard. He's just gotta make better decisions off the field, be on time, do some of those little things."
ANTONIO BROWN
"He was the hardest work- ing," Arians continued. "He and Emmanuel Sanders, boy they went after it because [Steelers head coach] Mike Tomlin used to tell them, 'Two dogs, one bone.' And at that time, we had Mike Wal- lace, Hines Ward -- I mean, we had a pretty good run for one of them to get on the field. By the end of the season, they were both winning for us to go to the Super Bowl."
Colin Kaepernick and his close circle of friends are strongly denying a report rap- per Travis Scott "consulted" with the ex-NFL quarterback before agreeing to do the Super Bowl halftime show.
The report claims Travis and Kapernick spoke over the phone -- and while they didn't exactly see eye to eye, there was a mutual under- standing.
The report seemed to imply Kapernick was okay with Scott performing be- cause the NFL and Scott agreed to donate $500k to a social justice organization.
But now, Kapernick's crew is calling BS -- and the QB is putting his stamp of ap- proval on the public denials.
Kapernick's
Ebro Darden -- the famous HOT 97 radio host who works closely with Kap's girlfriend, Nessa -- tweeted, "Kap did not approve this bullshit! Get the f*ck outta here."
Kaepernick retweeted Ebro's statement -- and Nessa also weighed in say- ing, "FACTS @EBRO!!! THEY NEED TO STOP LYING."
In fact, the same day it was announced Big Boi from Outkast would also be per- forming at the Super Bowl, Nessa posted the urban dic- tionary definition of the word, "Sell out."
She added, "If you are with them, then you are defi- nitely not with us."
   Lamar Jackson Wants
friend,
 To Be The Tom Brady
Of Baltimore
HBO's "Inside the NFL" sent Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis to Baltimore in late December to spend time with Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
As the Baltimore Sun points out, the segment was taped before the Ravens were knocked out of the postseason and the full episode aired Tuesday night.
"Inside the NFL" teased the segment Monday night on Twitter with a video clip, which showed Lewis and Jackson discussing the sig- nal-caller's speed, decision- making when lining up under center, teammate support and what it means to play in Balti- more.
"I already said it when I got drafted: I wanted to bring a Super Bowl to Baltimore," Jackson said. "So, I'm going

totrytobringasmuchasI can. ... I want to bring the Super Bowl here. I want to be the [Tom] Brady [of Balti- more]. I want to be the Brady, bring multiple, if I could."
Jackson tells Lewis, who spent his entire career in a Ravens' uniform, that he has no ceiling and has lofty goals on what he'd like to accom- plish for the city and commu- nity.
