RAY WILLIAMS
MS. HELEN P. KING
Ms. Helen P. King of Tampa, FL passed away on Sunday, No- vember 7, 2021.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, 2 p. m. at Tampa Life Church, 10930 U. S. Highway 301, Thono- tosassa, FL 33592, with Pastor Robert Tisdale, officiating. (MASK RECOMMENDED) Inter- ment will follow in Sunset Me- morial Gardens Cemetery.
Ms. Helen P. King was born on April 26, 1935 to Leroy and Allie Mae Pringley in Donal- sonville, GA. She was a resident of Tampa for 63 years and was a member of Calvary Tabernacle UPC. She was employed as a De- livery Driver at the Department of Transportation.
Helen enjoyed fishing and gathering of family and friends at her home. Mom never had an empty seat at her dinner table be- cause our friends were always welcomed. Mother never met a stranger, she drew people in with her infectious smile and loving demeanor. She received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago through the Acts 2:38 message, and walked faith- ful with the Lord. She attended Church regularly until she be- came ill, but continued to read her Bible and listen to her Gospel music.
She was preceded in death by: 8 siblings; 3 sons, Kelvin, Earl, and Robbie.
She leaves to cherish her memories and the values of life she constantly taught her 5 loving children, Phyllis (Jerry), Dexter (Beverly), Linda, Elizabeth, and Kayvette; and daughter-in-law, Betty King. She was the matri- arch of the family and had 8 chil- dren, 25 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Fri- day, November 19, 2021 from 4-7 p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. (MASK REC- OMMENDED)

MS. TENA SIMMS-MALONE
MS. SANDRA SIMS MOODY
Ms. Sandra Sims Moody of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away Sat- urday, November 6, 2021. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, 12 Noon at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 509 E. Twiggs Street, Tampa, FL 33602 with Father Crawford, officiating. (MASK RECOMMENDED) Inter- ment will be in Garden of Memo- ries Cemetery.
On January 15, 1946, an unfor- gettable spirit was gifted to the Mc- Call Family. Edward and Lillie McCall welcomed their 3rd daugh- ter, Sandra Louise McCall, to the fold. She was educated in the Hills- borough County Public School Sys- tem, graduating from Blake High School in 1964. During her tenure at Blake, the fashionable, fierce and fly teenager broke the color barrier while participating as a member of the Yellow Jacket Ten- nis Team; other extra-curricular activities included the basketball and drill teams, respectively.
Sandra continued her educa- tion by attending Gibbs Junior Col- lege and The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University on the highest of seven hills, majoring in social work and education. As an educator par excellence, Red and Lillie’s daughter taught at: Rickards High, Leonard Wesson Elementary, and Bethel Christian School in Tallahassee.
Upon returning to Tampa Bay the distinguished educator fin- ished her career at Madeira Beach Middle and 16th Street Middle School. During her career, the afro-centric educator received the Teacher of the Year award and was
recognized for her ability to pre- pare inner city students to achieve high standardized test scores. As a second career, the kindhearted queen finished her professional career as a caregiver to the devel- opmentally disabled, veteran and HIV/AIDS communities.
The social butterfly was a proud member of the Blake Alumni Organization. As a lifelong servant of the people, she was an active member of several churches in the Tampa Bay area spending most of her time, talents, and treasures at St. James and St. Au- gustine Episcopal Churches where she was elected as the senior war- den.
Sandra McCall Sims Moody was a devoted mother who loved her family, friends and fashion.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Edward and Lillie Mc- Call; sister, Eddie Mae Ford (Wimp); ex-husband, Steven Moody; grandparents, John and Eliza McCall, and Reginal and Josephine Pottinger; aunts and uncles, Morris and Marie Parham, Frank Waiters, James Thomas, Al- bert and Rachel Thomas, Victor Thomas, Eugene and Zanie Lou Thomas, Timothy Thomas, Sr., Virginia Gainer, Richard McCall and Eliza McKnight and a host of other relatives.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ory: two sons, Korey Sims (Er- ronetta) and Kelly Sims (Kahlya); ex-husband, Zeke Sims, Jr.; grand- children, Tylor Sims, Sheria Moore, Korey-Yonna Sims, LaQuashia Sims, Ciarra Williams, Kelis Sims, and Kloe Sims; great- grandchildren, Tylor Sims, Jr., and Celina Hawkins; brothers, Ed- ward McCall, Jr. (Zella), and Ronald McCall; sisters, Norma Reese (Ernest), Stephanie Davis and Donna Powell (Amahl); aunts, Louise Waiters and Dorothy Thomas; and a host of other rela- tives to include nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the Blake High Class of 1964.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 3-6 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. (MASK RECOMMENDED)

MRS. JOYCE JONES MOORE
Mrs. Joyce Jones Moore of Tampa, FL transitioned into eter- nal life on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, 11 a. m. at New Generation Faith Ministries, 8214 Peterson Road, Odessa, FL 33556 with Pastor Pa- tricia Daniel, officiating. (MASK RECOMMENDED) Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Joyce Moore, a native of Tampa, was born on March 4, 1942, and was a resident for 79 years. She attended Blake High School and Gibbs College. She was a member of New Generation Faith Ministries, where she touched many lives. She was em- ployed as a CNA at several nursing homes throughout Tampa. To know her was to love her. Joyce was a person who never met a stranger.
She is survived by: her faithful husband of 41 years, Norman Moore, Jr.; sister, Linda Hicks; brothers, Harold Jones, Sr., and Henry Thomas Jones, in addition to a host of nieces and nephews.
We will miss our beloved sis- ter, Joyce, in essence, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Ms. Tena Simms-Malone was a native of Washington, D. C., and a resident of Tampa for 50+ years. She attended Robin- son High School and was a member of Lincoln Gardens Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed as a Govern- ment Administrator.
She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Larry Grant (Sharrisa); grandsons, DeAn- dre Williams and Quincy Ma- sumbu; granddaughter, Daysha Tinius; great granddaughter, Annika Tinius; father, Starling E. Simms; sisters, Michelle Simms-Gainor, Renee Simms and Christina Simms-Furlow and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
