MR. HOMER ‘SNOOKS’ ALEXANDER, JR.
Funeral service for Mr. Homer “Snooks” Alexander, Jr., who passed on December 25, 2017, will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Elder Kathlene Williams, officiating.
Homer was preceded in death by: his parents, Homer and Inez Alexander; sister, Ola Mae Alexan- der; and brothers, Major Alexan- der and Tommy Lee Williams.
Homer “Snooks” is survived by: special friend, Sara Dawkins of Tampa, Florida; brothers, Willie Frank Alexander (Cynthia) of Tampa, and Dewayne Williams (Kathlene) of Tallahassee, Florida; sisters, Mary Williams Jugger (Leroy) of Tallahassee, Florida; nieces, Charita Alexander (An- tione), Kimberly Alexander (Robert) both of Tampa, and Timikia Jugger of Tallahassee; nephews, Herbert Jugger and De- wayne Williams, both of Tallahas- see; great niece, Raven McClendon, Reggiesha McClendon, both of Tampa; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Homer Alexander, Jr., af- fectionately known as “Snooks,” was born on December 17, 1943 to Homer and Inez Alexander in Daw- son, Georgia. He was educated in the public schools of Georgia. Homer, at the age of 14, left Geor- gia to live with his father in Tampa. He began picking oranges in the or- ange groves and later he became a Longshoreman.
Homer retired from the Local Union 1759 after 30 years of serv- ice. Homer was a good-hearted person. He was always very well- dressed and always kept a pocket filled with money. He would give you his last dollar. He was a person who would tell you like it is. We are all going to truly miss “Snooks.”
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, January 12, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home from 5-8 p. m. Friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Saturday at approximately 12:45 p. m. for the service.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Reuben Rush will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, 11 a. m. at Faith Temple Church of God, 1609 E. New Orleans Ave., Tampa, FL 33610, with Bishop E. Dion Blaine, officiating.
Mr. Reuben Rush was born in Timmonsville, South Car- olina on August 12, 1952 to the late Annie Mae Davis. He moved to Tampa, Florida in 1960. He attended public school in Hills- borough County.
Reuben Rush was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Mae Davis; son, Curtis Rush; sister, Ruby A. Staley; 2 broth- ers, Craig L. Smith and John L. Small, Jr.; also (one) nephew, Tarence J Staley.

Homegoing Service for Mr. Julius C. Mr. Julius C. Henderson, Jr. was born on April 3, 1930 to the parentage of Julius C. Henderson, Sr. and Marie Daniel Henderson in Desoto, Sumter County, Georgia. He attended public schools in Sumter County, Georgia and was a resident of Tampa for over 60 years.
Mr. Henderson served in the United States Army and was hon- orably discharged. He was mar- ried to Peggy W. Henderson for 63 years prior to her passing. Mr. Henderson was a former employee of the City of Tampa Utility De- partment for over 30 years.

Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Sr., Pas- tor, with Rev. David Jones, Sr., Officiating /Eulogist. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Mosley was preceded in death by: her father, Fred Mosley, Sr.; mother, Hortense Mosley; brother, Fred Mosley, Jr.; sister, Josephine Folks; brother-in-law, Oscar Folks, Sr.; nephew, Ulysses Singleton, Sr. and great nephew, Ulysses Singleton, Jr.

Ms. Leila Marie Mosley was born in Tampa, Florida on May 26, 1932 to the parentage of Fred Mosley, Sr. and Hortense Mosley. She attended the pub- lic schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Middleton Senior High School, Class of 1952. She later fur- thered her education and re- ceived her degrees at Edward Waters College, Bethune- Cookman College and FAMU.
She began her career as an Educator at a very young age with the Hillsborough County Public School System. Ms. Mosley retired after 35 years as a teacher, but she would substi- tute on occasions. Leila was an active and faithful member of St. John Progressive M. B. Church for more than 60 years. She would participate in the General Mission, Senior Women Mission, Usher Board, Keenager Ministry and the summer camp assisting Lady Banks with the children.
There will be a viewing on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5-9 p. m. with the family pres- ent to receive friends from 8-9 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street Tampa, Florida.

       Funeral Service for Sister Glossie Mae Duhart, who went home to her Heavenly Father on January 2, 2018, will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10 a. m. at St. Matthew Missionary Bap- tist Church, 3708 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. W. D. Sims, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; brother, Willie Duhart; 2 daughters, Patricia and Mary; and 1 son, Jack.
She leaves to cherish fond memories of her with: sons, Rev- erend Choice Cobb and wife, Debra of Georgia, Melvin Taylor and Carl Taylor of Tampa; daughters, Floyd Thomas and husband, Ricky of Georgia, Katrina Feliciano and hus- band, Victor, Sentral Duhart and stepdaughter, Barbara Smith and husband, Roderick; devoted grand- sons, Antonio Duhart and Aries Taylor, all of Tampa; a host of other grand and great- grandchildren; brother, Jessie Cobb; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Sister Glossie Mae Duhart was born August 5, 1933 in Vienna, Georgia to the late George and Annie Mae Austin. She received her early education in Vienna, GA and moved to Tampa at a young age. After arrival in Tampa, Sister Duhart obtained employment as a housekeeper and continued in that service for over 20 years.
Sister Duhart was a faithful member of St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church and she served on the #2 Usher’s Ministry for many years. She loved to sew and make dresses for her daughters. Sister Duhart also enjoyed taking care of her family, baking and cooking. Some of her specialties were, homemade biscuits, cakes, dress- ing and fried chicken. She enjoyed serving the Lord and could be found many days in her favorite rocking chair on her front porch listening to Willie Banks.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, January 12, 2018 at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida from 5-8 p. m. with the family present from 7-8 p. m.
