Distressing video has re- vealed how a black man was confronted by at least five po- lice officers while picking up trash outside his own house in Colorado.
Footage taken from inside
the home in Boulder shows the man, Zayd Atkinson, having an angry conversation with an officer on Friday morning.
Boulder police have now launched an investigation after the video caused fury when it

was posted online, and say the officer who initially confronted the man has been put on ad- ministrative leave.
As the video starts, Zayd can be heard telling one cop, who has his gun drawn and pointed at the ground, that he has 'no right' to be detaining him.
Meanwhile the cop can be heard shouting back at him to 'put down the weapon', refer- ring to the litter-picker in his hand.
Reinforcements soon ar- rive as at least four other offi- cers surround an increasingly irate Zayd, while his friend shouts at them to leave from inside the property.
Zayd, a model with Model Management Group (MMG), can be heard repeatedly telling the officers that he lives at the property.
At one point he claims there are eight officers sur- rounding him, though only five are visible at any one time in the video.
After almost 15 minutes the situation begins de-escalating and Zayd goes over to have a conversation with one of the officers.
The two men spend several minutes talking before sharing a fist-bump as Zayd walks back into the house and the video ends.
Boulder police say they are now investigating the incident.

for a stroke victim, as 66 per- cent of those who suffer from such an attack are 65 or older, according to the Center for Dis- ease Control and Prevention.
Perry's father died in his mid-30s from a heart attack, which could also contribute to his relatively young death.
R. Kelly is reportedly heading back to jail — but this time, it has nothing to do with the criminal sexual abuse alle- gations that landed him behind bars late last month.
The embattled R&B star was taken into custody for fail- ing to pay child support on Wednesday afternoon (March 6) and is on his way to Cook County Jail. Kelly allegedly owes $161,633 in child support to his ex-wife Andrea Kelly

Woman Sentenced In Jamaican Lottery Scam
A 47-year-old Seffner woman has been sentenced for her role in a Jamaican Lottery fraud scheme. She pleaded guilty October 17, 2018.
Judge Elizabeth A. Ko- vachevich sentenced Ms. Jen- nifer Samuels to 33 months, (2 years and 9 months) in federal prison. She pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud. Ms. Samuels admitted to being a middleman, or money mule, in a Jamaican lottery fraud scheme. As part of her sen- tence, the court also entered a money judgment of $209,800.13, the proceeds of the fraud.
According to court docu- ments, Ms. Samuels and her co-conspirators identified poten- tial victims and contacted them by telephone, falsely claiming the individuals had won the lot- tery in Jamaica.
In order to claim the prize, the victims were told they needed to pay money for taxes. If a potential victim agreed, Ms. Samuels’s co-conspirators di- rected the victim to send these
fees to a middleman, who re- ceived the funds and distributed them. Ms. Samuels agreed to be one of these middlemen.
Ms.
A conspirator told the victim that in order to receive his lot- tery winnings, the victim would need to pay the taxes on the win- nings upfront. Between May 2016 and May 2018, the victim sent 52 checks totaling $209,800.13 to Ms. Samuels. The victim believed he was pay- ing the taxes associated with his lottery winnings.
Ms. Samuels deposited the victim’s checks into her bank ac- counts or cashed them. She then transferred the majority of the funds to her conspirators in Ja- maica and Florida by cash deliv- ery or wire transfer. Ms. Samuels also kept a portion of the funds for herself.
In May 2016, Samuels’s co-conspirators con- tacted an elderly victim residing in the Middle District of Florida and falsely told the victim that he had won $1.4 million and a Mercedes-Benz vehicle as part of a Jamaican lottery sweepstakes.
