First Cookbook This Fall
Snoop Dogg is taking a page out of his home girl Martha Stewart’s playbook.
This fall, the rapper will re- lease his first cookbook, ti- tled From Crook to Cook, featuring “50 recipes straight from his own collection... in- cluding OG staples like Baked Mac & Cheese and Fried Bologna Sandwiches with Chips, and new takes on clas- sic weeknight faves like Soft Flour Tacos and Easy Orange Chicken,” according to pub- lisher Chronicle Books’ web- site.
Many of these concoctions were made by Snoop and guests on his Emmy-nomi- nated VH1 series Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party. The Guardian points out that despite the rapper’s much- publicized love of all things

weed-related, all the featured recipes are “cannabis-free.”
From Crook to Cook will be published on Oct. 23.
Evelyn Lozada filmed a two-part apology to her “Bas- ketball Wives” co-star CeCe Gutierrez after making a racist reference to her on this week’s episode.
Taking to her Instagram page on Tuesday afternoon, Lozada addressed the inci- dent, which took place during an argument at dinner while the ladies were in Amsterdam.
After CeCe called Evelyn “EVIL-lyn”, Lozada re- sponded with “I have a prob- lem with you. I have a problem with you, Lee-Lee.”
CeCe was confused by the term, until cast member Malaysia Pargo explained that it was a reference to a nail shop technician, which CeCe immediately labeled as racist. Many viewers also took offense to Evelyn’s comment and a petition has since been crafted pushing for Evelyn’s removal from the show.

“In the heat of a verbal bat- tle, things are sometimes said that are hurtful, untrue and to- tally out of character. It’s not cool - but regrettably it hap- pens,” she wrote. “I under- stand why many are upset by

derogatory, stereotypical refer- ence of another woman of color-and for that I’m so sorry. To intentionally add to a pot of racial divisiveness is not reflec- tive of my heart. I extended a heartfelt apology to my cast- mate CeCe Gutierrez a few weeks ago back in which she graciously accepted. Moving forward... I have to do better!
Ray J Settles $30M Lawsuit Filed By
Ex-Business Partner
Ray J and friends on Scoot-E Bikes.
Ray J has settled a $30 mil- lion lawsuit filed by his former business partner in a case that involved the judge using the singer’s own song lyrics in a ruling.
According to The Blast, pa- perwork in the case reveals that the Love & Hip Hop: Hol- lywood star and his former partner reached a settlement on all issues. The docs note that the pair ended the months-long legal battle through mediation.
Earlier this year, Jean Paul sued Ray J for $30 mil- lion over an alleged business deal gone south.
The lawsuit claimed that in 2015, the two were in talks to launch a business to market electric scooter bikes, which has been an obsession of Ray J’s for years.
The two allegedly agreed that Ray J would be an in- vestor and would endorse the product. Jean Paul began the
process of getting the business launched until he found out that Ray J allegedly went be- hind his back to launched his own competing electric scooter bike company.
Ray J demanded the case be dismissed and claimed the two never had a written agree- ment.
According to The Blast, Judge Federico A. Moreno quoted Ray J’s One Wish as part of an earlier ruling in the case.
Judge Moreno said, “If Plaintiffs had one wish, Counts I, IV, V and VII would never end, they would just begin. But wait a minute, Plaintiffs need to let it go, because a photo is not a formal invite to be bound by terms of a contract, much less satisfy a statue that re- quires a writing.”
The judge’s conclusion re- calls Ray J’s lyric: “If I had one wish, we would be best friends, love would never end, it would just begin.”
