MS. TEMEKA POWELL
Ms. Temeka Mariea Powell of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, Janu- ary 15, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Bible- Based Fellowship Church, 4811 Ehrlich Road, Tampa, Florida, 33624, with Rev. Anthony White and Elder Norman Harris, offi- ciating. MASKS REQUIRED. In- terment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Ms. Powell was born on Au- gust 12, 1976, to Charles and Mariesa Powell in Tampa, Florida. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. Temeka loved dancing, making people smile, and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Charles and Mariea Powell; and sister, Karen Denise Simmons.
Temeka leaves to cherish loving memories: daughter, Nierra Lane; son, Jaden Powell; fiancé, Dudley Bryant; brothers, Antonio Powell, Charles Powell, Jr., (Kimberly), Cedric Powell (Donna), Derrick Powell (Rose), and Reginald Williams (Otisha); two sisters, Charlene Powell and LaTasa Williams; aunt, Sandra Flowers; nephews, Antwon (Nina), Rashad, Nashon (Bri- ana), Andre, Antonio, Jr., Car- los, Cedric, Jr., and Derrick, Jr.; nieces, Antoinette Vega (Negro), Jalisa, Andreanna, Savanna and Alana Powell; cousins, Kim (Tim), Traci (Ronald), Eric, Michael, Marlon, Thaddeus, and Kevin; close friends, Shala Howard, Diayonda Richardson, Sherita; and a host of other sor- rowing relatives and devoted friends.

MS. CYNTHIA ANN BURNEY
A Graveside Service for Ms. Cynthia Ann Burney, who passed in Phoenix, Arizona, on December 29, 2021, will be held on Saturday, Jan- uary 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida, with Pastor Larry Roundtree, II, officiating.
Ms. Cynthia Ann Burney was born in Tampa, Florida, on Novem- ber 14, 1957, to the late Albert and Susie Burney.
She was converted into Christi- anity at an early age and joined New Salem P. B. Church under the lead- ership of Pastor R. H. Howard, where she served on the Youth Choir and Usher Board.
Ms. Cynthia Burney later joined Rebirth Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Zachary Hud- son, where she served as Choir Di- rector for the Young Adult Choir. She later joined the New Mt. Zion M. B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Larry Roundtree, (II), where she was a member of Voices of Praise, Sunday School Teacher, and she attended Bible Study regu- larly. She truly loved the Lord.
She attended the schools of Hillsborough County, and was a graduate of Hillsborough High School, Class of 1975. Cynthia, en- joyed spending quality time with family, dancing, singing, eating and shopping.
Cynthia held a variety of jobs, however her love and care for help- ing others was that of a CNA, this was her PASSION. After her health started to fail, she relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, in care of her children.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Albert C Burney; mother, Susie V Burney and brother, Clifford Eugene Knight.
Cynthia leaves to cherish pre- cious memories with: a loving daughter, Kisiah Freeman- Williams (Phil); son, Robert Bivens, III, Phoenix, Arizona; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Hawkins (Carl), Tucson, Arizona, Cathryn Thompson-Hicks, Tampa, Florida; one aunt, Mozelle Hester, Tampa, Florida; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends. She will truly be missed by those whose lives she touched!

MR. HERBERT LOUIS DREW
A Memorial Visitation will be held for Mr. Herbert Louis Drew on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida.
Mr. Herbert L. Drew was a resident of Tampa, Florida all of his life. He was born to the parentage of Joe and Selena Drew on July 15, 1949. Mr. Drew was well known for his campaigning within the community for many years. He was the owner of Drew Janitorial Service and Drew Cor- ner Market.
Mr. Drew was preceded in death by: his parents, Joe and Se- lena Drew; 3 brothers, Joe Drew, Junior, Lee Drew and Herman Drew; 4 sisters, Helen Martin, Melba Ford, Tina Ross and Bessie Drew.
He is survived by: two sisters, Barbara Jacobs and Betty Jack- son; two brothers, Willie and David Drew; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other rela- tives and friends.

MR. JONATHAN PACE
A Funeral Service for Mr. Jonathan Pace, “ JO,” who passed on January 3, 2022, will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Christian Center, 7402 N. 56th Street, Tampa, Florida, 33617, Bishop Calvin and First Lady Angela Green, Pastors with Pastor Willie Richardson, Pastor of New Mace- donia M. B. Church, Officiating, Eulogist. Interment will be made on Tuesday February 18, 2022 at Florida National Cemetery.
Mr. Jonathan Pace (AKA - JO) was born on April 14, 1966, in Irwin County-Ocilla, Georgia, to the parentage of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lee (Annie Ruth Thomas) Pace.
He was educated in the states of Georgia and Florida. Mr. Pace received Christ at an early age and was baptized by Rev. Leon Camel at Mount Calvary Missionary Bap- tist Church, in Belle Glade, Florida. Mr. Pace was a basketball star at King High School located in Tampa, Florida. He graduated in 1984, from George Washington Carver High School in Douglas, Georgia. After graduation he en- listed in the United States Army. He was stationed in Fort Ord Army in California and served three years as a Petroleum Supply Specialist. Mr. Jonathan Pace served and received an Honorable Discharge from the United States
Army.
Jonathan was preceded in
death by: his grandparents, Rev- erend Shellie and Mrs. Rosezener Pace, Mrs. Orzella Tomberlin - Thomas, Mr. Henry and Mrs. Fan- nie Thomas and cousin, Rev. Roo- sevelt Thomas, Jr. (Tweetie).
He leaves to cherish memories of him with a son, Antone Smith and his daughter; mother, Annie Mintze-Simmons; sisters, Sharon G. Robinson, Carla Glover, Sylvia Pace, Lelia Tucker-Leonard; adopted sister/niece, Mya Robin- son; brothers, Willie Arthur Pace, Sr., and Alton C.
