MR. WILLIAM J. TUCKER
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. William J. Tucker, “Uncle JJ,” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021, will be held on Saturday, January 30th, at 10:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd, Tampa, Florida, Rev. Dr. James L. Gallon, officiating.
William Tucker was born on June 22, 1942, to the late Nathaniel Tucker and Elizabeth Poole, in Tampa, Florida.
He was a dedicated member of Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. William also worked for the International Longshore- men’s Association.
William was preceded in death by: his wife, Cynthia B. Tucker; parents, Nathaniel Tucker and Elizabeth Poole; brother, Nathaniel R. Tucker, Jr.; sisters, Lorene Tyson and Bessie M. Owens; nephews, Stanley Jones and Clifford Grooms; and niece, Yasmine Tyson.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his daugh- ter, Natasha S. Tucker (Adrian); stepson, Ronald Harris; grand- children, Dexter Burch, Jeffery Butler, Carlos Lagreera, Levinisha Dukes, Lawanda Magwood (Der- rick), Helen Moss, Ronald Harris, Jr., Ronald Harris, III, Ronneasha Harris (Mark), Cynthia Harris and Danesha Harris; 20 great grandchildren; brother, Maurice Tucker (Cassandra); sister, Ruth Mae Holden; nieces, Darlene Grooms, Robin Tyson, Marva Owens, Celia Tyson, June Fitz- patrick, Sevelia Franklin, and Christalle Toombs (Robert); nephews, Ricky Tyson and Mau- rice N. Tucker; cousins, Poole, Anderson, and William families; and close friends, Claude, Hawk, and Sam.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 29th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guide- lines. The service will be live streamed at www.aikensfuneral- home.com website.
MR. ROBERT LEE COLLINS
Mr. Robert Lee Collins, of Tampa, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021. Memorial Serv- ice will be conducted Saturday, January 30, at 4:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guide- lines. Masks are required.
Mr. Robert Lee Collins was a native and resident of the histori- cal West Tampa for 80 years. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1958, where he was a member of the Yellow Jackets Football team.
Mr. Collins retired as a Skycap at Delta Airlines – Tampa Inter- national Airport and was also a self-employed painter.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Fred, Sr., and Ceola E. Collins; brothers, Fred, Jr., Leroy, and Charles Collins; and son, Terryl Collins.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his children, Darryl Collins, Robert L. Collins, Jr., Lateasia Lowe, Cynthia James “Cindy” Bennett and husband, Thomas Bennett, and Sophia Golson, and husband Tory Golson; stepchil- dren, Donetta Fields, Donald Fields and Cevin Littles; grand- children, Mario Berkhall, Maurice Moore, Clarencia Lowe, Terryl Collins, Jr., Ja’Mya Rodriguez, Charles Bryant, Naomi Bryant; and a host of great grandchildren; brothers, Roland Collins, and Norris Collins and wife, Dr. Car- olyn Collins; sister-in-law, Pearlie Collins; nieces, Terri Collins and Cassandra Collins; nephews, Nor- ris Collins, Jr., and wife Esper- anza, Dr. Corey Collins and wife Dr. Gwensia; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and a long generation of family and friends that loved him dearly. MR. KENNETH M. NICHOLS
Mr. Kenneth M. Nichols of Brandon, FL, passed away, Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, January 30th at 2:00 p.m. at Travail & Triumph Deliverance Center, 1509 E. North Bay Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Apostles Otis and Paulette Cooper officiating. Inter- ment will follow in a Private Bur- ial. Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Mask are required.
Mr. Kenneth Nichols was a native of St. Petersburg, FL and a resident of Tampa, FL for over 65 years. He attended Hillsborough County Schools and was a gradu- ate of Robinson High School, “Class of 1973.” He retired from Bright House Cable and Henry Corp.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Norval and Doris Nichols; brothers, Pierre Cash and Norval Scott; nephews, Ter- rence Nichols, Sr., Samuel Hicks, III, and Warren Mitchell, Sr.; and brothers-in-law, Alphonso Shep- pard, Sr., and William Joyce.

Ms. Marilyn A. Everett was born September 27, 1955, in Tampa, Florida, to Helen Johnson Everett and Percy Everett. Mari- lyn attended local schools in Hills- borough County, graduating from Gary Adult School.
Marilyn held positions at sev- eral nursing facilities and Univer- sity of South Florida.
Marilyn enjoyed reading her Bible, crossword puzzles, writing poems and fishing. She loved watching westerns and the un- touchables.
Marilyn went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Helen Everett; grandparents, Samuel and Catherine Bolden; Percy and Nora Everett.
She leaves to cherish her memories; loving children, De- metric Everett (Kissa), Sherri Hall (Jimmy); father, Percy Everett; sisters, Shirley Everett Houston (Lonnie, Sr.), and Karen Everett- Saab; grandchildren, Ashley Gant, Brandon Hall, Demetric Everett, Jr.; great grandson, Zayden Gant; like a daughter, Luz Ayende-Gant; aunts, Bernice Bolden, Claretha Bolden, Hannah Bolden Williams, Consuella Leach, of Gainesville, FL; uncles, Melvin Johnson, Samuel Bolden, Jr., Morris Everett, Bryant Everett, Monroe Everett (Evelyn); niece, Lani Houston; nephew, Lonnie Hous- ton, II; special friends, Cynthia (Patsy) Roach, Irene Oliver, An- gela Dennis, Darlene Brooks, and Mickey Huggins; special cousins, Cheryl Everett Marion, and Lillie Russ.
