MRS. LENORA STANCIL GREEN
Mrs. Lenora Stancil Green, of Tampa, passed away on Thurs- day, January 21, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted Satur- day, January 30, at 2:00 p.m., at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Rev. Lucious Holley, officiating and Dr. Karmen R. Gadsden, Eulogist.

Lenora was a native of Tampa and attended Robinson High School in 1976. However, most of her adult life, she was a resident of Kodiak, Alaska, and Heyward, California, where she was a Pre- School Teacher. While residing in California she became a mem- ber of The Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research, Inc. and continued her studies in Tampa, Florida, which she has been a faithful student for 35 years.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Malachi and Carrie Stancil; her husband, Gerald T. Green; daughter, Toyaka Green- Wilson; sister, Deborah E. Stan- cil; and brothers, Theron Charles, Melvin Freeney, Carl V. Stancil and Andrew C. Stancil.
She leaves to cherish fond memories: sisters, Carolyn Mc- Carty and Rosemary Stancil (Kraig) Gadsden, all of Tampa; aunt, Minnie Robinson, of Lake- land, FL; mother-in-law, Inez L. MS. WANDA RENEE THOMPSON YORK
A Celebration of a Life for Ms. Wanda Renee Thompson York, of Tampa, Florida, who passed away in her sleep, Friday, January 15, 2021, will be held on Saturday, Jan- uary 30, at 11 a.m., at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 North Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL, Pastor Douglas Walker, of Tyer Temple United Methodist Church, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Mask are required.
Wanda Thompson York was na- tive and life-long resident of Tampa, FL, born to the late Patricia Thompson and Edward York. Wanda had a radiant smile and vi- brant personality that lit up any room. She was a genuine, great friend to everyone. She attended the local public schools of Hillsbor- ough County and was one of the first Black students to integrate Bayshore Methodist Christian school. Wanda was a 1980 graduate of Henry Blake Plant High School.
She enjoyed a rewarding career with the City of Tampa for 38 years. She made history in 1987, as the City of Tampa’s first woman and first Black Code Enforcement Su- pervisor. Wanda found her current position with the City of Tampa, as a Real Estate Contract Specialist, very fulfilling.
She leaves to cherish precious memories: her son, Armani Lubin; sisters, Linda Archie (Karawn Garvin), and Sabrina York; aunts, Marlene York-Monroe (John), Eve- lyn McFadden, John Inez Cohen (Waldence), and Melanie Martin; uncles, Randy Martin, and Blenus Martin; nieces, Diamond Archie, and Michelle Hazard; nephews, Douglas Archie, III, Lance Archie, Terry “Shawn” Ferrell, and Dillon Archie; grandnephew, Jaden An- crum; a host of loving cousins, Monica Thompson, Rev. In- terment will follow in Wimauma Community Cemetery.

She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. For many years, she was a member of Mount Moriah M.B. Church of Wimauma before shifting her mem- bership to First Prospect M.B. Church of Wimauma, where she was the voice of the choir. She loved singing, dancing, taking care of fam- ily and a good laugh with friends.
Andra will be remembered as a selfless, wife, mother, and sister who always had a smile, even when times were tough.
Andra is preceded in death by: her parents, Helen Carrie and Charles Levins, Sr.; grandparents, Joseph and Willie Jean Carrie; nephew, Trevaris Brock, Sr.; mother-in-law, Bernice Singleton; and brother-in-law, Robert “Chip” Singleton; several uncles and aunts and grandson, Roderick Smith, Jr.
