MR. DAVE ‘TALLMAN’ EVANS, JR.
Homegoing Service for Dave “Tallman” Evans, Jr., who passed away August 9, 2017, will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 10 a. m. at the Center For Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Ave., Apostle Mark T. Jones, Pastor; Rev. Dr. James Gallon, The Chris- tian Praise and Worship Cen- ter, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
Dave Evans, Jr. was born September 27, 1954 in Waynes- boro, GA to Dave Evans, Sr. and Melvina Evans. He was a truck driver for Waste Man- agement for 2 years before his health declined. He loved to fish.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, brother, uncle, aunt, nephew and niece.
He leaves to cherish his forever memories: his loving and devoted wife and caregiver of 43 years, Patricia Evans; 4 daughters, Donna Chapman (Jawain), Lisa Denson (Harri- son), both of Tampa FL, Mary Evans of Long, SC, and Temika Smith of Tallahassee, FL; 2 sons, Dave Singleton and Don- nie Evans, both of Tampa; 6 grandchildren, Jadah and Jawain Slaughter of Tampa, Dave Terrell Singleton of Au- gusta, GA and D’azha Single- ton of Whitesville, NC, Corneeceya Brown of Tallahas- see, FL; 4 sisters, Sarah Lewis, Pastor Marion Crawford, Anita Heyward, all of Tampa, and JoAnn Crumble of Waynes- boro, GA; 1 brother Eddie Evans.
Dave was a member of New Way of Life Lodge #39. At the viewing his service will be ac- knowledged.

Leonardo was born May 8, 1982 in Tampa, FL to Geno and Annette Jackson. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. Leon was well known in West Tampa. He enjoyed fishing and catching crabs in his free time.

Homegoing Services for Mrs. Dessie Barnes Oliver, who passed away August 5, 2017, will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 2 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL, 33610, Pastor Danny Os- borne, God’s Side Church, offici- ating. Committal will be made at the chapel.
Dessie was born on June 9, 1932 in Parrot, GA, to the late John and Besty Barnes. She had eight siblings, who all preceded her in death. She was mar- ried to the late Rev. J. C. Oliver, and to that union was born nine children. After the death of her husband, Dessie relocated from Albany, GA to Tampa, FL. She was a faithful sister in Christ, a good, loving, faithful housewife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, aunt, and sister.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, eight siblings, and five children.
She leaves to cherish with memories: her children, Pearl Oliver, Tampa, FL, Evelyn Oliver Walker (Ricky), Alabama, Johnie Oliver, Tampa, James Oliver, Tampa, and Deborah Oliver, Tampa; 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Mrs. Ruthie Mae Lowe was born on October 31, 1952 in Tampa, Florida to the late Emma Hart and the late Mr. Lowe. She worked for the Department of Children and Families for over 20 years.
She attended Blake High School, Middleton High School and Hillsborough Community College. Ruthie enjoyed cooking and her family. She was strong, generous and loving. She was well-known for helping others.
Ruthie Mae Lowe was pre- ceded in death by: her mother, fa- ther, three brothers and great-granddaughter, Kalacia Watts.

A celebration of life service for Deacon Earnest Kitchen, who passed away on August 9, 2017, will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 10 a. m., at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd, Tampa, Florida, Dr. Sam Maxwell, Senior Teaching Pas- tor, with Minister Todd Ham- mond, Executive Pastor, officiating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Earnest Kitchen was pre- ceded in death by: parents, Isom and Lucy Bell Ward Kitchen; wife, Celia “Doll” Kitchen; son, Henry Edward Flournory; siblings, Pearl Kitchen, Robert Lee Kitchen, Ida B. Morgan, Herman Kitchen, Hillie Kitchen, Mary Belle Weatherly, and Curtis Lee Kitchen.
Those left to cherish loving memories are: grandsons, Tavores (Terry) Flournory and Henry Flournory; great-grand- children, Henry John Flournory, Tavores Flournory, II, Khaliyah Flournory, Kachelah Flournory; brother, Otis (Vivian) Kitchen; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Kitchen and Julia Kitchen; brothers-in- law, James Fisher and Ben- jamin Broadnax; special friends, Jessie Caldwell, Peggy Jo Young and Jill Baranowski and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
Deacon Earnest Kitchen was born on November 9, 1926 in Plant City, Florida, to the parentage of Isom and Lucy Bell Ward Kitchen. He attended the public schools in Plant City, Florida. Deacon Kitchen was married to Celia “Doll” Flournory for 61 years until her demise on February 18, 2009.
Deacon Kitchen was con- verted at an early age. He be- came a member of The First Baptist Church of Progress Vil- lage in the early 1960s under the pastorate of founding Pastor, Rev. B. T. Williams, later Rev. Roosevelt Robinson, Jr. and current Senior Teaching Pastor, Dr. Sam Maxwell. He was on the Deacons Family Ministry, Male Chorus, where he sang and played the guitar, Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Pulpit Committee and Evangelism Ministry.
There will be a viewing on Friday, August 18, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Progress Vil- lage from 5 – 7 p. m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 – 7 p. m. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at approximately 9:45 a. m. for the service.
