A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Jessie Thomas, Jr. of Plant City, Florida, who passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019, will be held Saturday, December 7th, 12 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Dr. Shafter Scott, pastor, of St. Mary Mis- sionary Baptist Church, officiat- ing. The interment will be held in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
Jessie Thomas, Jr., was born July 15, 1933 in Eutaw, Alabama, to the late Louis, Sr. and Mary Thomas. He attended St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church. Jessie enjoyed fixing and build- ing things. He loved to cook and was a very good diesel mechanic. He was also known as “Mr. Fix It.” He was the owner of House of Sandwiches that was located on Main and Howard Ave. in Tampa.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; son, Terrance Thomas, Sr.; sisters, Frankie Thomas Owens, Frances and Mary J. Thomas and Mary Thomas Cohen; brothers, Wyatt, Sr. and Louis Thomas, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his loving wife of 47 years, Emma Thomas; children, Tena Thomas, Thalia Sherrill (Andre), Ronald L. Sims and Jeramy N. Thomas; grand- children, Ronnisha and Mary Brown, Phoenix Blanco, Jammie, Jae and Jermisha Thomas, Ron- nelle, Ronald, Jr., Rondeisha, Shondrea Thomas, Margia, (Shannon), McKnight (Favian), Shana (Colleton), Eddie Thomas, Terrance, Jr., Tasha Thomas (Letitia), Javen Johnson, Trevis (Tina) and Wesley Wise; great- grandchildren, Trinity Thomas, Penelope Thomas, Lenox Thomas and Tatiana Gaines; brothers, Charlie Thomas (Elaine), Johnnie Thomas (Au- gusta), Leslie Thomas (Precious) and Wilson Thomas (Edith); sis- ters, Girt Lee Thomas and Daisy Barton; nieces, Veda and Jen- nifer Thomas; nephews, Her- man, Nathaniel and Gerald Thomas and Marcello Lett; a host of other grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, December 6th, from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.

PASTOR SANDRA MASON GIVENS
Pastor Sandra Mason Givens transitioned from her life here on earth to her heav- enly home on Friday, November 15, 2019. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Decem- ber 7th at 1 p. m., at Riverhills Church of God, 6310 E. Sligh Avenue. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Sandra Mason Givens, affec- tionately known as “Mama G,” was born to the late Sanders Mason, Jr. and Rosanna Orum Mason, in Tampa, Florida. She was the third oldest daughter of eight children.
Sandra was educated in the Hillsborough County School System, and later graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of 1977. Sandra will be remembered as a person who loved and enjoyed fellow- shipping with family and friends; her beautiful smile (smiled through any life en- counter), and one with a “heart gold.”
Sandra Mason Givens leaves to cherish her memories: son, Eldricke Mason, Sr.; daughters, C’etter Givens Dillon (Dwayne Dillon) and Tiffanye Bias (Jesse); stepchildren, Clarence Givens, Jr. (Shonda), and Michael Givens (Mary); grand- children, Eldricke “EJ” Mason, Jr., Malaysia Collins, Janeecia Mason, Jaylen Mason, Sean- drevious “Dre” Prince, Chloe Lovett-Mason, Imani Mason, and Akeil Mason; great grand- children, Jace Harris, Meaghan Dillon, and Avah Jordan; sib- lings, late Lou Ella Williams, Minister Patricia Mason Givens (Gary), Rosanna Mason Givens (late James), Toni Mason Cole- man (Melvin), late Timothy Mason, Elder Donald Mason (Starr), and Pastor Gregory Mason (Felita); aunt, Callie Works; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held Friday, December 6, from 6 to 8 p. m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 4202 W. Nas- sau Street.

MRS. EARNESTINE DAVIS
Graveside Services for Mrs. Earnestine Davis will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at 10 a. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 East Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida, Apostle D. J. Hendrix, officiating.
Earnestine Davis was born in Clayton, Alabama on January 15, 1948 to the late T. C. Turner and the late Marie Turner. She at- tended the Public Schools of Hillsborough County and gradu- ated from Blake High School. She worked for the Tampa Trib- une for 23 years and Health and Rehabilitation Center for 30 years, where she retired in July 2019.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Carlton Davis; father and mother, T. C. Turner and Marie Turner; brothers, Arthur Lee Turner and Eddie Lee Turner, Sr.

A Homegoing Celebration for Brother Derrick Keith Everett, II, of Tampa, Florida, who departed this life on Thurs- day, November 28, 2019, will be held on Saturday, December 7th, 2 p. m., at New Salem Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 8525 N. 78th St., Tampa , Florida 33637, with Bishop Robert E. L. Dorn, III, officiating.
Brother Derrick Keith Everett, II was born on Novem- ber 4, 1989 and departed this life on November 28, 2019. Der- rick accepted Christ at a young age. Derrick attended the Public Schools of Hillsborough County, some of which are Bellamy Ele- mentary, Ben Hill Middle, Alonso High School and gradu- ated from Ethline R. Williams Preparatory. He also studied Air Conditioning and graduated twice for A/C Technician, then as a Journeyman and proceeded to work in that area of expertise.
He was preceded in death by: his late great- grandfather, Ervin Harris, Sr. and Marie Homes and late great- grand- mother, Daisy Green and Paul Green; grandfather, Leon Stephens and Carrie Green Stephens; late grandfather, Em- manuel Everett, Willie Harris; uncles, Calvin Stephens, Ervin Harris; aunts, Helen, Pamela, Luvenia, Levorne, Mattie, and Mary.
He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories: his de- voted mother, Carol Stephens and father, Derrick K. Everett, Sr.; three brothers: Christopher Everett, Lajuanee Carter, and Ronald Anderson, III; four sis- ters: Chantell Everett, Erika Everett, Derraka Everett, Kashia James; four nephews: Jesias Mills, Royal Anderson, Lajah Carter, Antonio Mills, Jr.; five nieces: Mckenzie Everett, Azyria Carter, Zamaia Anderson, Lyric Carter, Harper Everett; six aunts: Jessie Harrison, Vera Thomas, Vivian Lucas, Bridgett Estera, Jacqueline Stokes, Glo- ria Hughes; five uncles: Tren- ton, Wilton, Floyd, Vincent, Terry; and a host of family and friends. MR. VERNON JEWEL PEARSON
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Vernon Jewel Pearson of Tampa, Florida, who departed this life on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, will be held on Saturday, Decem- ber 7th, 11 a. m., at ACOJ The Lord’s House Ministry, 2708 E. Osborne Avenue.
Mr. Vernon Jewel Pearson was born in Brookfield, GA on February 27, 1954. He moved to West Tampa where he met his wife of 50 years, Mrs. Deborah Pearson. Vernon Pearson, Sr. was a graduate of H. B. Plant High School and a Member of In- sulators and Allied Workers Local 67. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grand- father as well as a great- grandfa- ther.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Delouris Banks, Joseph Pearson and wife, Sarah Pearson; his four brothers, Frank, Bobby, Marion, Johnny Banks; and daughter, Cora Mae Allen.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Debo- rah Pearson; 4 sons, Frank John- son, Jr. (wife: Ursula), Robert Wood,ChristopherDaniels,Ver- non Pearson, Jr. (wife: Roslyn); a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Henry Pearson, Elvis Banks, Greg Hall (wife: Gail); 3 sisters, Helen Timmons, Virginia Banks, Robin Hill (husband: Tyrone); and a host of nieces, nephews, brothers-in- law, sisters-in-law, other family members and friends.
